I'm hoping they'll run this clearance again this year in a few weeks! For the longest time, I had no craft stores nearby. Then they all popped up seemingly overnight haha Maybe some new ones will open up closer to you!

I just got back from HL. I have a rule that I can only buy what I can carry in my arms. Last year I had some regrets and wound up giving away some of the yarn. So I got only 3 different yarns and am very happy with my $18 purchase.

It's so funny how we are all drawn to different yarn. I love green, so I have to purposely make myself buy other colors besides just green or I wouldn't be able to make any multi colored projects haha Thanks for watching!

I can imagine how excited you're for the new yarn. I've always wondered since I follow. Have you ever tried unraveled thrift store sweater for the yarn. 95% of my stash (a small one tho) is from sweaters. I have unraveled around 20 sweaters. It would be fun seeing you trying do that if you like. Nice video! :D

I haven't personally tried that before, but it sounds so cool! That's such a neat way to get yarn - and you probably get lots of yarn that stores don't carry!

I got the same yarn Stitch 101 in apricot and my 2 daughters are red heads also.... I hope you do a tutorial on whatever you end up making.

The Cotton DK yarn had the entire line clearanced out. They also had a chunky cotton yarn clearanced out. I ended up getting quite a bit of the chunky cotton.

I love ponchos but something unique & special looking. Can you make different kinds of poncho tutorials? A poncho with cool-looking granny squares. Another poncho with flower shapes join as you go poncho. How about a zig-zag chevron poncho?

Ponchos are a good idea! I haven't crocheted many in the past because I have a hard time styling them with outfits. So that would be fun to venture into new territory for a project.

I think they do 30% off yarn every other week or at least every third week at my Hobby Lobby. But this clearance takes the cake!

For the last three years, my local Hobby Lobby ran the 75% off yarn around the second week of June. From reading online, it seems like stores in different sections of the country mark the yarn down starting in different weeks in June. But the trend seems to be the sale happens in June. Hope this helps!

How do I find out if my local Hobby Lobby is participating in the yarn sale I just left the Hobby Lobby near me and no yarn was marked fown

Probably the easiest would be to call the store. The Hobby Lobby near me goes on clearance the first or so week of June, but I've seen online that other store locations didn't start their clearance until a week or two later in June. There's a chance all the clearance yarn at your location was already purchased (which would be so sad 😭) but there's still a good chance they just haven't marked the clearance yarn yet. Hope you're able to get a good deal!

I bought 15 hanks of the hand dyed yarn. I got home and went through everything I bought and I was charged for 16 of the hand dyed hanks. So, they got an extra $3.74 on me. (Too far away to get a refund)
