I collected all the videos I filmed during my rebuild of my Bmw E36 coupe I drove home from Germany 1600 km. I started the rebuild 6 Des. 2019 and was finished on my way to my first trackday 5 august.
It has been a journey with ups and downs mentally and physical since I have a health that made it a tough but a rewarding challenge. I teared up when I mounted the seat after aaall the rust welding. It was a amazing feeling completing that!
So what I did was:
Welded the rust.
Welded in reinforcements.
Street legal weld in half roll cage by Linnerud Bur.
Undercoated it with 3M products
Refreshed the suspension with everything new, just kept the oem ARB’s and ST XTA coilovers.
Re taped the wiring harness.
Painted the engine bay and inside red.
VDO gauges install.
Chromoly 3,2 flywheel w/4 puck Helix clutch
New brakes oem refreshed, a E46 conversion with Ferodo pads are planned.
Running Ferodo DS2500 front and Brembo Sport rear.
4.10 diff with refreshed LSD
