Superliminal is a game that blows my mind constantly! The mind bending perspective based puzzles will make you question your own reality! Previously known as the museum of simulation technology but that's just part of the puzzle to realise it's now superliminal game! _Superliminal_ kinda reminds me of another game I stumbled onto by accident several years ago, called _Antichamber_ -- it's got a similar trippy _Stanley Parable_ by way of _Portal_ vibe, leaning more toward the latter than the former in terms of gameplay, but it's very much a brain-melter.

I love the concept of this game, and I personally think it (the concept) is on par with portal in terms of reality challenging mechanics implemented well. I hope they explore the story aspect of it, and broaden the variety of settings, objects, and textures a bit more.

IDK how exactly they did it, but the coding behind this is deceptively simple. you link the scale of an object to a raycast that determines the distance from source to whatever the source is pointed at. you also set a max distance to fix its max scaling. so if u pick an object and look at something close by, the scale would be small, whereas if u look at something far away, scale would be large.

My initial guesses as to how the magic in this game was accomplished: Looking closely you can see the light of the object change based on where Jack is pointing the camera while holding the object. The way I could think of it working is as you look at other objects in the scene, the object is snapping to a position around that target object or area, and based on how far that thing is from the camera, it scales up the object so that it remains the same size in the camera view when it was grabbed, and all the changes happen dynamically. When you let go, the object is already scaled and positioned appropriately.
