Farke inherited a chaotic situation at the club and he didn't have a proper pre-season, and he still managed to get 90 points. The balance of the team isn't quite right - We needs some new BIG 6 ft 4" no-nonsense CBs, and we need some strong LBs and RBs, and we need changes in midfield, and we need a big powerful striker or two.

Hey Diggler, how are you doing? Not seen you for ages. Agree with you about Farke getting 90 points which is impressive. But I still think he makes subs too late, and doesn't change things until it's too late, if at all. I'd say give him another season. With a pre-season and if we can get him some quality players then hopefully he can be succesful.

@@CB-xr1egit's not that impressive when a League 1 team with a rookie manager got 96. We were nowhere near in the end. He couldn't handle the pressure of the run in and he couldn't handle Wembley. It doesn't matter if we got 90 points or 900 points, you have to get over the line.

A lot seemed to want Bielsa gone after his first season, how stupid they were back then. Pretty sure those that want Farke out might have to swallow their words again. He had a tough start, a better start and we'd be pretty much champions. Subs, same was levied at MB too.

Hiya Ollie.. The thing with Bielsa right, He got beat in a play off with mid table or league one standard players. He coached them to be better than they actually were and they eventually got found out at PL level. Now Farke once the debacle was cleared had the best squad in the division say from September onwards. Leicester Ipswich Southampton did NOT have the calibre of player like Summerville Rutter Gnonto James Rodon and Ampadu Gray. They might of had 2 or 3 equal but we had 6 exceptional players at this level. Farke pro's are good man management skills as shown early in season and with Spence {which was a shame, cos he is a good player, wrong attitude}. But his outstanding failure was his rigidity in playing same team or trying to play same team for 46 games. I think we burnt out in last 6-8 games. This was totally on Farke not using this incredible squad better. Next year we won't have a Summerville or Gnonto and James certainly wont do it week in week out as they wont give him the space to use his pace. We needed and will need next year different formations to beat various teams we come up against. Farke NEEDS to be more flexible and less stubborn. I don't like his football but he's here to stay for next season so I'll support the team, but I'm not happy.

@@johnevans1031 That's true but there were reasons we started poorly last season. The takeover, not getting players in soon enough, players going on strike. At one point we had just 6 or 7 players on the bench including 2 goalkeepers and U21 players.

Give the guy a proper pre season for god sake. And a proper team, not as many clown as we have now. I blame mostly the players for what has happend!! Only issue i got with Farke is not using the bench option for what its worth, for example give James a whole half. Those who feel we will win the season by changing managers after a few weeks, are smoking something funny in their pipe 😅

It's not changing managers that causes problems it's appointing poor ones. Southampton and Leicester changed managers and went up.

Hi Ollie. Daniel Farke should definitely stay. He wasn't dealt the best hand at the beginning of the season with the contract situation of players at the club.. That said I think if we did go up this season we would be straight back down again. Our front players are not good enough.

Farke - here’s another way to look at it. Players that did well. HIS SIGNINGS : Ampadu, Rodon. PLAYERS ALREADY HERE: Cree, James, Firpo (2nd half), Rutter, Willy (for a spell) least I forget Gray. Conclusion is our success came from players he didn’t sign, someone else’s work. FARKEOUT im afraid

Hi Ollie, would like to add, I think he might get us up next season but at the cost of losing more of our young talent that won't get minutes and as a Premiership manager would fail miserably no matter how much money we throw at him as he is too stubborn to modify his principles and learn from his mistakes, which has been his downfall at every club he has managed.

HI Ollie, I will give you a balanced view imo. Farke did well off the pitch with Gnonto, Spence(some might disagree), Archies development into first team football, Byram on a free that was invaluable to us at some points of the season. The down sides stubborness, Cresswell when his dad spoke out didn't get a sniff of the first team, Joseph when he was questioned by the press that maybe he should be playing more and got even less minutes, though it was obvious Piroe was not performing. Playing out of form players every week, even if players on the bench were improving the side when they came on. Lack of rotation wearing out the first 11 over 46 games, rigid times for substitutions though you could see after 20mins it was not working. Rigid formation and predictable way of playing all bar 1 game when he changed to a 433. I know he will be here next year, but I also would rather he wasn't but it is what it is 👍

I would turn his life support off to charge my phone. We don't need stability we need success We played Southampton twice in a week and he changed nothing,NOTHING,no three in midfield, nothing. Who should replace him? Big Brenda, near where I live is available

Digger is right. He inherited a mess and got us within a hair of promotion. Remember that he had half a summer window too. I don't think he had the players he wanted or needed eg Rutter isn't a true 10, but he did what he could with what he had. I definitely have criticisms of him EG use of subs and of fringe players but maybe they just aren't good enough in his eyes. Are there better managers? Almost certainly. But right now, stability is far more important. Far more. If he can add the right players and keep not lose too many then we should be a better team in a weaker league. It would be nuts to think about getting rid of him despite his faults

Grayson had to stay because we couldn't get anyone better and he dropped down the leagues getting sacked everywhere and ended up getting sacked in India. Same with Monk. They said Heckingbottom had to stay because we wouldn't get any better. We got Bielsa. But did they say Bielsa had to stay because we wouldn't get any better? No. They hounded him out and we got relegated. It's embarrassing for Leeds United to be out thought and out coached at this level. I don't like Marathe backing him and trotting out the 90 points line. Bielsa showed what it takes to get Leeds United promoted. I don't know why people are pretending sacked Norwich managers with limited skills will be enough. It's a waste of everyone's time.

@@GSOHJM - exactly. The ‘90 points’ argument is a lark. At this stage, Leeds might as well finished 73 points (or less), given that we remain in the Championship. Even worse, we will now be without those players that got us those 90 points. This isn’t hindsight - So Gnonto starts, but you gave him 45+ minutes to play and he was shite. You need to have subbed him out and James in at halftime based upon performance on the field. But, this is the Farke way - obstinate to the point of inanely stubborn. And, honestly, so was Bielsa (obstinate to the point of inanely stubborn) Which is why Bielsa was sacked. If you think Farke leads to the Prem, you might as well have kept Marsch - neither have what it takes.

@@arctain1 agreed. It’s very unpopular among a lot of the fans. But bielsa was one plan stan. In terms of being an adaptable strategist and clever squad development man - he was most definitely not.

Ollie in a nutshell kagey was appeasing the happy clappers brigade who were saying how unlucky leeds were that in most other seasons leeds would have received automatic promotion. But the point is we didn't the bar was raised slightly &leeds effort slightly peated out.then again I've just been reminded that Sheffield 91 points &Burnley 101 points got promotion. This I'm sure is a tongue&cheek remark by kagey, I find it rather amusing myself, its like a coping mechanism to me.though I've seen people triggered by said comment surprise surprise one of them just joe.on another vlog I can't remember but I got in a spat with a leeds fan of 50years & he said to me I'm a liar because he's never heard anything in 50years like,ITS SO LEEDSY OR THATS TYPICAL LEEDSY THING ETC. Ollie my dear respected friend I don’t want to sound like i don’t know anything i use to be a football manager and I taught kids who won everything for 6 years i would have become a professional football manager but I ended up in prison and that ended my chances of becoming a professional football manager , anyway the sign of a good football manager is when things ain’t going right you make the decisions to change the problem and in those situations you come through successfully the managers in the professional game at the time couldn’t win a point off me for 6 years this is why I make my claim against farke you get found out when you cant turn things around when your team isn’t performing well, I live in south London but Ive always been a Leeds fan since the times of the 70s trust me I know my Football however saying that Come on Leeds for next season and let’s win the league outright

The three clubs going up gambled on unproven ambitious young managers. We went with the safe option. Farke gets out coached far too often and always will. Only has one idea. Bielsa was an out of the blue appointment. Farke is too old to change now so thinking he will improve the way he subs is wishful thinking

Now the dust has settled I’ve changed my mind from farke out ,if you take into consideration all the facts like the late appointment last season and his win record we are now in a better place to start a new season , I do think he needs in game tactical ideas and a plan B so I think give him a chance after all 90 points is a great season and Normally would be promotion form ,great channel Ollie mot

Farke out. The 49ers loyalty to Farke is going to be their undoing. Farke is not going to learn anything from this season. He is blaming the teams youth and inexperience. I never once heard him say he had got it wrong in any game. His arrogance and stubbornness is going to be prove disastrous when we have to change Manager in October and November. Mark my words!

We'll be ok. I like Farke. I agree he needs to bring on subs earlier and switch up formations more, but we're definitely not doing any better than him in the championship (and probably not doing any better than him in the prem).

Farke did a good job for the majority of the Season, up untill the Coventry game on the 6th April. Only then did the results go against us. Get rid of the playoffs, Top three should go up.❤❤❤

His tactics are terrible. Just knock it about boring everyone & not taking players on. When it goes wrong he does nothing until so late. Then he throws 5 up front. Farce tactics that will never work in the prem. No wonder norwich failed bad in the prem under him. I want a change but its not going to happen.

Farke doesnt gets the results during the 2nd season and loses his job before the end of...if he doesnt retain any attacking threat and has midfielders that cant shoot then I dont think Leeds will be able score as many goals. Goals is the name of the game in championship. Also Farke NEVER takes responsibility for how the team plays or any loss, how can any fan be ok with a manager like this, players will never fight for a manager like this. Look chaos was in the preseason last season, it wasn't when then season started. That is false narrative and the stats are there to state that.

90 points in the end is massive after that season start. Before anyone starts critisizing Farke here is Something to think about we Had no decent #9 we had no #10 we had Ampedu and gray playing out of Position half of the season. We lost struijk. Roberts apart from the Leicester game a complete fall out . You're saying substitutions to late come on be honest to yourselves who did we have on the bench where you can say he is a game changer? I am upset that we didn't go up but Its better than getting hammerd in the Prem. This time we have 5 More weeks that able the 49ers and Farke build a new squad

sorry, but talking about Norwich (who were a reasonable side), but last week played like a division 2 side..... they made Leeds look good. But, for 3 months, Leeds have been awful........Farke OUT, bring in David Moyes, with a far better C.V.

Did well with a team that was naive and inexperienced with a forward line that was afraid to shoot, I feel sorry for the supporters,poor start not his fault.

Stick with Farke but get some new players who will consistently turn in a performance every week , we need a new keeper, centre forward, a couple of backs and another couple of mid fielders. We need to cover for injuries. All the players on loan don’t want them back and any good offers for our main players we need to balance the books. I think more domestic players who could be more physical and dominating is what we need to get back to the top. Failure is not an option and the goal is automatic promotion forget playoffs and the cups let’s get our priorities right the premiership.

Team selection is a major weak point that costs Leeds promotion. Takes too long to spot when things are clearly not working and players are clearly not up for it. If he could find a braver head and make decisions when they are required and not the last 10 minutes things might change. Some teams really do their homework and they have you sussed from the kick off, then you need a working plan B ready to go . Leeds just lack that ability.

Absolutely, Playing Kamara(Left) and Gruev(Right) doesn't make sense. No Crossing, No Stretching the defence. Southampton has just seat in the middle and had a big goal keeper. easy win gave away
