Kindly clarify for me if one is a "must" to have a diploma level for a hospitality position like "Waiter" or even highschool is good with an experience of number of years and how effective is it based on application selection process? Kindly what would you advise based on your experience so far?

If you completed the green card application, means it's in their records .so you better be truthful coz they know..you can tell them yes through greensand application before but now you are here for a different visa ,mention your visa type and purpose.

What did you put for the part that says how long will you be in the US? Are they referring to before you board the ship or are they referring to the 6 months on 2 months off (depending on the cruise line)?

In my case I put 2 days usually as per your LOE,how long will you be on transit. Max 2 days then put a day before your embarkation and till embarkation

I guess this is what got my visa denied, I didn't know so I put 6 months instead of 1 day, I'm so sad because I was supposed to resume on the 6th of next month.

@josephette5780 don't worry about, I am so sorry about that,that is why it's TRANSIT..passing by,so it can't be 30 days,however you may email your employer to schedule you to a ship that does not sail within U.S waters so you can join.explain to them about visa denial..they will understand
