Talk to your insurance company. They already admitted guilt when they changed out the front grill. Did you track mileage before it went to shop? Sounds like they Joy rode it and crashed it. If it was a defect originally, it wouldn't look like that. Seems like a new accident from them since you know you didn't do it. As for the electrical problem, disconnect all the added lights. You have to trace what systems that connected to the 20 amp breaker. If it popped right away, it's a short circuit. If it runs for a while, it's a system.problem. with a schematic it's about isolating stuff. As for Memphis in May, we were planning to attend but my wife is scheduled for surgery on that day so, it's a no for us. I picked up a 2019 F3S a week before the 2023 Houston WHAP. We are planing to attend Houston WHAP 2024, not sure if we will stay in Houston or Galveston. It's gonna work out for you bro. Keep the faith. RG-ON3

I'm sure the first time they ever lifted your bike they thought "ah shit we fucked up" and kept it hidden from you in an effort to avoid having to pay thousands in damage. As soon as you picked it up the first time they should've came forward and let you know there was an accident with it bcuz if you never said anything they would have kept their mouth shut.

If you have a good insurance company, they will go after the dealership. So, get with them, explain how shadey the dealer ship has been, they should go after them. That's why you have insurance. Let them sue and settle. That is their job. That way your insurance shouldn't go up. Your insurance company should want to recover as much money as they can. And if they have, to go to court.

This is not a frame damage. This is just a bracket that welded to the frame (and holds your new bumper and radiator) is cracked. Check alignment is it is OK then frame is not moved. Just weld and reseal those cracks.

I don’t know what happened but it looks to me like the frame damage occurred in the possession of the dealer Service Department. I don’t think your dealer is going to like changing out the frame in the beginning of their busy season. That is a very time consuming process. I don’t know how the frame broke in two places with only a minor bend in the bumper. I think that BRP needs to have their Technical Support Team out their for an inspection. It very well could be a manufacturer defect. Buybacks come from the factory and without their input the repair is either on you or your insurance company for road hazard damage.

I think you still should go to Memphis in May you might enjoy it.

Man! Dealerships on any level just can’t be trusted, at the least they should be replacing the frame. Why should you have to go through your insurance for their negligence. Or maybe it’s a Can Am frame defect warranty issue. I can’t speak on the Elka shocks cause I don’t have them but I do have that exact steering stabilizers and can tell the difference when I’m in the wind draft of semi trucks, hope the outcome is in your favor bro.

My ryker was down for 1 year because of the wire harness. Just buy a used wire harness.

That's messed up that they did not tell you that whoever was servicing your bike had had an accident on it and I'll bet you the guy who actually had the accident probably didn't tell his boss that he hit something on your bike. Until you found out and said something. But if they're not looking to work with you and eat the cost of this, you may have to get a lawyer depending on what the insurance company decides to do with it. But that does suck. But on another note, if you have to get another bike I would go with the Ryker Rally.. It sits up a little bit higher, and yes, you're going to have to build it to be a show bike, but I think personally is worth it. But I'm praying that it all works out for you. Let us know how it turns out.

I feel like you need to talk to a lawyer if they don't assume responsibility because their tech had the accident and they should have notified you immediately regardless of them buying the bumper. That was them trying to play nice. They knew what they did. Insurance claim is a last ditch effort.

Could you get it welded to spec? Because honestly it looks like it's repairable if welded and reinforced. But you've got to get an expert welder, not some shade tree mechanic. It's your safety.

That’s a tough one all right! You can see from the front picture that the left side of the bumper is pushed in. Dealer should assume all responsibilities for the damage. Even though you could probably straighten it and weld the cracks You may still have electrical issues. as far as the shocks and the steering stabilizer goes, you should probably cancel the orders until you find out what’s going on with Spider-Man! That’s too bad cause that bike would’ve been absolutely amazing with those upgrades! Good luck C8!

Sounds like that dealer owes you a new bike my boy!!! Easiest thing the dealer can do is buy a new frame and completely break your old bike down & transfer everything to the new bike!

I hate to hear that so if the dealer doesn't cover the cost and your insurance company totals the bike, I would keep the bike and take a payout and then take it to a mechanic who knows how to weld metal and get the bike fixed if possible. I would only do that because you have so much invested in this bike and based on the pictures, it looks like rust has set in which means that it has cracked awhile. This is just a suggestion and I am sure that what ever you decide will be the best one for you.

Hey man! I think that those cracks in the frame have been there for a while because they have a fair amount of rust on the cracks. Possible factory defect so they won't have a problem fixing it, but it should be warranty and not an insurance claim ya know.... I have a 22 sport and you will need those shocks! That's the next thing going on my bike. Keep them shocks comming!!!
