More like cereal killer. I love a good bowl of strawberry oats 😋🥣
In response to why the skull is not kissing . It wouldn't be a heart if they were kissing. ♥️
Further, facing away from each other is part of the art piece. as much as we care about intended meaning, This piece is not particularly romantic.
Real quick, the meaning is whatever you take from it . as soon as an art piece is set free to the world my meaning becomes a lot less important and yours takes over (if you find any, no meaning is also fine) but with that said here's my meaning :
This piece is a low key critique on relationships where the participants get absorbed and how that is not good for the individuals or the whole . I believe that to lose yourself in the relationship, you're ignoring who the other person is because in a sense, does it matter? If you become the relationship, how much room is left for you? (which is why it's "you are my better half*" "better for you")
Being yourselves as partners is a lot more fun than being no one together.
But I'm also a hyper independent hermit. So take from this what you will. 😆

I think for that tagline I would do something like a picture of an anatomical heart at 2.5 d (like curved embossing maybe) and then have a relatively 3d hand ripping through it. I went with "you are my better half" because this is a really low low key critique on marriage/ relationships that absorb the participants and also (mostly) because I split Roger in half lol (well mostly in half, I missed center a bit and had to do some sanding 😅)

I love the newspaper words because it reminds me of when killers or kidnappers write ransom or just want to torture the family of the victims but still want to stay as anonymous as possible so they use the words from newspapers so handwriting specialists can't tell who wrote the letter.
