Much easier to work on, but lots can go wrong too. The Autel scanner you have is great! I have a similar one (MaxiDAS DS808, older, not as good), it is a life saver for the newer cars (I use on my 2013 GL550). Thanks for the video! 😀

Expensive old car, purchased cheap - still is an expensive car, with expensive parts and maintenance.

I bought a 2003 c240 ..w203 at a junk auction with 99 problems and a spent transmission. Put a used trans in it out of tbe junkyard and started in.on the 99 problems..that was 4 years ago and now it's a daily driver with 0 troubles so far .Inexpensive parts from. China bought online made this project doable..I paid $ 1400 for the car at tbe junk auction. These old Mercedes can be fixed back up ,but I couldn't have done it using Mercedes parts from the dealership and justified the cost.Chinese parts are good enough for a $ 1400 car .lt had 155,000 when I bought it now it has 173,000

I prefer pre 1990 mercedes. They are built better. Easier to care for and i like the older body styles. I hope you get your car to the condition you want. Thanks for the video

Hey I open mine had similar issue where the bearing is you have magnet there I wash the magnet wait similar to WD40 and since then I don't have the problem because it was dirty. because I put new sensor and it was the same story thank you for your time

You found a bad wheel sensor on your scanner. Fix that and recheck codes. If you are lucky it will fix some or maybe all the other codes. Other systems depend on signals from wheel sensors.

Maybe small battery?

I truly beleive that "new" Mercedes-Benz aren't as reliable as the old ones, W126, W124, W123, etc... The electronic is a nightmare and make the parts very expensive.

These cars are literally made to go to 200 thousand miles and it's time for a new one

Non-conforming (non-OEM) wheel and tire dimensions mess with transmission, speed sensors, speedometer.

You bought a FOLEX fake-rolex, and you're walking around complaining why it ticks instead of sweeping, it's a fake-Rolex (( dirt-cheap-used-mercrdes )), if you want the experience of a mercedes than spend the money, or get yourself a LADA or a TATA, they're cheap to fix... but thanks to KZfaq people get paid for BS gossip videos, sometimes I think people have nothing better to do... this is not against just my opinion.
