Randy the reason you have to push the accelerator to make it move is because that is an option called "Auto-Hold". You should be able to turn that option off. Hope this helps.

Reminds me of BMW I had 58,900 miles coupe someone sold to me for $450 because it has bad spark plugs , bad brakes , bad battery, bad headlights, bad old gas and bad oil in it. Bad serpentine belt , I fix it took one hold day fixing everything only cost $500 in parts and run like brand new and got title for it and later sold it at auction for $5500 . And ppl told me I couldn't fix it and it was junk I proved to them anything possible.

Have a D2 Audi Quattro- I have to sometimes hunt a bit for parts, but with aftermarket pieces...some you do not replace factory pieces with aftermarket. Example- the water pump. It had the top end redone a year before I got the car. The aftermarket pump was already seeping around the mating surface and the Audi guys were like, "It's new, low miles, but junk. Never use anything but factory water pumps on these Audis."

I would totally agree with you with cheap tires, etc. if you’re flipping a car. However, if you’re going to keep it for the long run, you will definitely notice the difference between Chinese versus Michelin tires over the long run.

If you want to make it easier to get dead cars on the lift, just bolt a winch to the floor under the workbench in front of the lift. I would say bolt it to the wall, but the last thing you need is to pull the wall down

I have All Season Nanking Chinese tires on my Porsche 944 and like them much more than the previous name brand tires and only $360 for all 4 installed!

Been buying used alternators and starters for many years now from one place and they rebuild them right there, usually it's a regulator or something in the alternators that go out. 9 times out of 10 if I walk in with an alternator they usually have one already refurbished and ready to go all OEM for pennies on the dollar compared to new Chinese junk

Alex just had similar issues with his V12 C65 in todays video. He sent it somewhere to get rebuilt.

I normally could care less about MB cars, but I REALLY like this one... Just an FYI Re: the street worker for $35, you ain't gonna get a rub and tug for $35, but you might be lucky and get a quick reach around... Talking about tires, I've never bought cheap off brand tires, but I bought a mint condition, one owner 2009 GMC Yukon 4x4 about 6 months ago, and the guy told me he had just put new tires on it. I thought that's cool, and then I looked at them and saw the name on the sidewall. Mastercraft... HUH ? WTF ? I told myself while I was looking at them that I was going out the next day and get new BFG All Terrain tires put on it. That was 6 months and 5,000 miles ago, and the Mastercraft tires are still on it... They drive good, ride good and they are quiet and they work good in snow and ice. I did some research and they are made by Cooper.

Volvo's are the best! Very reliable! Get an 850R or 1998 v70R or a moderend 2004-2007 s60R or v70R GREAT FUN CARS! I have two 05 s60R and 07 s60R super fun when tuned too!

Sure some might say tires doesn't matter but not all cars can take all tires, i bought a set of rims and tires for my 2008 volvo XC70 18" rims with toyo tires, they didn't even last a season and i only commuted 20-30 minutes to work, they wore down so fast it was crazy, i still need to do an allignment but this was not an allignment problem as it was completely worn evenly, only thing that was left on the tire was the water drains and the edge close to the tire wall, i haven't seen that before but i suspect it had something to do with the weight classification among other things combined

That's a great deal on that Mercedes. I love Mercedes-Benz. They rides so good. I used to have a '96 25 years ago and it rode like a dream and for the coil pack that's very cheap. Good price. Yeah you have to wash your engine because if you don't you're asking for trouble cuz all the dust collects oil and we all know what happens the end it gets too hot and it's not going to run right? So do not be afraid to rush your engine cleaning, real good top and bottom. And you'll have a worry-free engine. Great video

I was so looking forward to a Saturday installment and my heart dropped when I saw a pic of the Mercedes. I was hoping to see the Volvo 740 instead as I prefer the average beaters which show up every so often. Mercedes and BMWs are not and will not ever spark my interest. Prefer a 600K Camry as that's a feat to get that much mileage. Here's hoping that Randy may be through his luxuotoy craze and we start seeing some more daily drivers as well as classics. 😊
