I have been a MCR fan for over 15 years now and just discovered these edits. What I really love about these cathedral type edits of My Chemical Romance songs is that it just shows the sheer power and beauty of Gerard's vocals. Of course, the rest of the band members are absolutely amazing and are essential part of the band but these edits make me appreciate the songs even more. The cathedral edit makes sense because it is indeed a spiritual experience listening to this version.

There's an abandoned Cathedral behind my friend's house a little ways into the woods because tress and stuff grew though it. it's been there for a while i guess. I know he goes there sometimes to sit and sing to himself. and I know he listens to MCR, so i thought one day i'd follow him idk when im gonna tho. I kinda wanna hear him sing because he dont sing infront of anyone.

When he says, I’m just a boy I’m not a hero, it makes me just cry cuz he’s not just a boy he’s my hero and so many other peoples hero’s, all of them Gerard, Frank, Mikey and Ray :’)

Okay so the video itself is wonderful, I adore this acapella sound with MCR music but I have to laugh at the mental image I had of Gerard standing by himself in the bathroom singing this and absolutely losing his shit at 0:57 and its the best thing ever. I adore manic Gerard with my whole heart
