Very cool, think I'll be getting the last one you showed off! 26:55 Just in case you didn't realize, the map with the moon runes on the back is designed that way so you can shine a light and they'll appear, similar to how the moon revealed them in the story

21:09.......i think i have this version but the hardback cover is blue instead of black and there is no red color on the maps.....which version is that one

The manner in which you manage your books is quite evident; hence, it's no surprise that 'this one isn't in the best condition.' I do appreciate that handling them as delicately as fine china isn't required, but casually flipping through pages and discarding dust jackets might not cause substantial harm presently. However, with repetitive handling in such a manner, it will undoubtedly lead to damage. If you wish to indulge in playful exploration, I would earnestly request that you consider applying mylar covers to protect them, akin to safeguarding treasures whilst enjoying them like a child at play.

I'm not a fan of books printed in China, always seem to have quality issues. Does anyone else have the same problem? Regardless I'm jealous of this collection.

I like your videos and love The Hobbit the novel but hate its movie adaptations. Too long and too many liberties Jackson took regarding the book.

It is lamentable, indeed, that the disdain towards the 'Hobbit' movie adaptations rests not upon the craftsmanship of the creators but rather upon the executives overseeing the production. Their fervent desire to replicate the grandeur of the original 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy led to the regrettable decision of elongating a modest tome into a trilogy of films. Alas, this endeavour significantly diluted the essence and depth of the narrative, depriving it of its inherent substance.

Verily, it is a matter of great sorrow that the disdain towards the adaptations of "The Hobbit" doth not stem from the artistry of the creators, but rather from the meddling of those lords and masters who held dominion over the undertaking. In their insatiable desire to mirror the majesty of the revered "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, they embarked upon the ill-fated course of stretching a humble tale into threefold films. Alas, this grievous decision did grievously thin the essence and profundity of the tale, leaving it bereft of its native substance and spirit.
