I've found new appreciation for the sparkle bags. I like the way you just pick what fascinates you--not by name or value. But to speak of a name: Do you know the handbags of Lulu Guinness? I discovered them and sometimes you'll find them quite well priced for the handwork that goes into them. I think she still sells, but there are a lot of vintage ones. I recently bought a red handbag of hers with a very 50's shape. I love it. Just the right red. Then I remembered that my grandmother carried a red handbag when I was really little--something I had entirely forgotten. I think I was fascinated by it...and the gum that came out of it. Aw, I can still smell Juicy Fruit inside her purse..

Love all your purses, except for the white one at the begining. My favorite is the black one with the golden locket. I think the Talbot red & white could be styled with yellow. 99 percent of my bags are trifted and I have a problem letting them go.

Vintage works of art! My thrift store had 50% off today for Veteran's Day. My favorite prices! I very rarely buy anything in the color red. However, the only time my dad complimented me on what I was wearing was when I wore red.

Good to review what you have. Amazing you have such diversity. I have been slowly letting go of many of my bags to less than 20, keeping some sentimental, practical and unique ones. Great collection! How do you store all of it ? They seem to be in great condition! I think with the bag you can style with white and I think you should let the bag and skirt speak for themselves 😊.
