As long as the over all crit value is decent i wouldn't stress over it, anything like 65% crit rate to 190% crit dmg is all u need, the min maxing is the true end game.

The thing is that eventually, you'll start piling resources with nothing to use them on. That's how all gachas usually go. At the start you feel dirt poor and your resources are stretched to their limits since there's many characters and weapons you wanna build, but as time goes on you'll be sitting on a bunch of them with maybe 1 new character every now and then to build. Take your time and enjoy the game, and focus on building only 2 good teams for now.

My complaint for now is that grinding doesn't feel "fair", for a lack of better word as of late. I'm talking especially about the weapon material stages. At level 80 I think it's only fair to get a guaranteed gold material. I also see people complaining about how they get less echo EXP at the cost of getting premium tuners in union level 50. Definitely something to write about when the surveys come.

At AR50, you will really start to feel the Bottleneck of the Grind, in which 240 resins per day, aint doing sheet. Or lvling 70 to 80 characters and Stuffs. 8 "Gold" mats to level Weapons, but the Quality RNG they keep giving me is just "Blues and Greens" like how the frick do I catch up even from Overworld farming when the monsters are all 70-80 too?

There will be a time when our resources are just going to stack up, we mostly run out of mats since we still need at least 3 teams for ToA

Despite the fact being able to farm Echo is nice, the issues start to become appearance when you try to level up those Echo you farm because. One. You need EXP tube to level them up and not other Echo besides from Echo already level up, so you either let them sit in your inventory as waste space or fuse them. Two. Not being able to see the sub-stats straight away bring it the major issues of not knowing which Echo to throw away or use them to fuse because it exacerbate the issue of not knowing the thing you throw away are valuable. Like does this Echo have perfect Sub-stats role when I level it up. Three. Fusing have it own issues. 1: It's cost 5 echo for 1 guarantee plus "extra" if lucky. 2: You can't pick which set/echo cost the Fused Echo gonna be. 3: Exacerbate the issues I listed on the two above.

Take your time, but I would really be interested in that PGR review^^ It's different than WuWa for sure. I would still say PGR has the superior combat, but the 3Ping system definitely requires more time to get into than the usual one skill button with cooldown xD

I am not gonna complain about the echoe system. Mainly because. 1. Compare to Genshin, it takes 2 months to AR 45 and it is not guarantee you to drop Golds at that AR, and when it does you can't say it's good enough. It takes me whole freaking 6 months to build hutao and it still mid. Wuthering wave is like 1 and a half month old, it is not gate keeping you from building a character starting UL 30 because even at UL1 you have access to Gold Echoes. I built 2 characters now with crit and crit rate within a month, I wouldn't complain because they're generous enough for not gaye keeping us with gearing system, the only thing that prevent us is if you're not a whale then we have to grind our ass off in TC and roam around the maps opening tidals and chest, and milk all exchange reward events. Building a character in Wuthering wave shouldn't be that painful, you only build 3 characters per team, you can literally swap echoes to other similar element and for supports there's only like 20% difference because some uses HP/DEf/Atk. The game set doesn't matter much as it stays that way but they may add later since we don't have defense set. What matter is the Echoe ability which comes mostly from 4-Cost echoe. 2. The game just have access to many contents, that's why I think we have an eager to finish it, but that's not how the game tells us to do, we are just manipulated by the whales who can able to clear all content and other dolphin/f2p/goldfish content creator who makes content, what worst is some KZfaq content creator wanted to make content out of it like Holograms clearing/ToA. That's why they express their disappointment toward gearing system in Wuwa, that's sad.

I wouldn't stress over echoes personally, at least if you are a casual player. NOTHING in the game requires you to have those fine tuned echoes outside the Abyss equivalent and minmaxing is still faster here than Genshin where the artifact itself is just a months long gacha if you get what you want and if the right skills upgrade. Just by playing casually, never going out of my way to farm echoes and using the last double tacet field event to get fusion/havoc echoes, my Rover and Encore sits at a 60-70% crit rate and 180-200% crit dmg which is enough for pretty much anything. I don't count myself a good player, but even I killed every hologram Difficulty 5 with my lvl80 characters sub 3 minutes, which is the fair playing field. (Did lvl80 Crownless as well.) If you want to be sweaty about not getting the perfect minmaxed echoes... thaz's perfectly fair, but again, that's the end-endgame long haul thing to do, just like in Genshin. The game giving you fixed main stats and events give you selectable echo packs as well with the element you want is enough for casuals I feel. (That and wait for that craftable echo frequency chip, if the leaks are right. We are already getting stuff like the stamina storage in 1-2 version and addressed most problems people brought up in 1.0 before 1.1 even came out, so obviously they are listening, just like in PGR, but implementing and making things still takes time.)

I only go for main stats and completely ignore what the other substats are in this game. Maybe eventually when I have all my main characters built I can start to min-max but for now I’m good

yea... echo xp accessibility needs to be raised up to the level of tuners. I almost never have enough xp whereas im still sitting on 1k tuners after getting solid echoes for both my teams

After farmng artifacts in Genshin for three years, I can't relly complain for an echo system. Good luck trying to find a right crit circket in Genshgin, it can be months, If ever.

Honestly, just take your time, the echo grind is a "good enough for now" kind of issue. If it works, it works. Trying to get as near or at max crit value immediately is how you end up getting burnt out and dropping a game.

We should be able to see what a echo gonna roll with substats already. But make tuners to unlock substats.

The Game itself is easy outside the hologram. And i beat the hologram with f2p Yinlin and Cixia. With ok build. Thats enough for the whole game content. Sure its rare, but its not neccesary.

Ive got two characters fully kitted. Everyone else is running lvl 0-10 echoes. Biggest issue ive had since starting, why is there not an echo exp specific combat zone, or a shop that resets weekly that sells some or something. Also i farmed for 5 and a half hours killed literally every wolf and mushroom and only got two havoc dmg pieces on the havoc set. Never doing that again. Also also, i had the complete opposite issue with inferno rider, ive consistently only gotten crit dmg pieces until i FINALLY got 2 crit rate ones and one of them actually rolled great. But ive got 36 crit dmg inferno riders i simply do not need

Tbh bottleneck is echo exp...i have lik 1.5k premium tuners. At least with WuWa dont take lik 3 years to get end-game content lik Genshin🤣and somehow still manage to screw it up and not fix it in decent time.

I hear a lot of you complaining but you guys need to remember this is the first month of the games real livespan . You are going to mid max everything super fast , that's how it always goes when you're a day 1 launch player. The only people that really get to enjoy life serves games like this are people that come a year later with a gaint wall fo things stacked for them to do . It's just like warframe it's only fun for new player but og are just there to speed run new content in 3 day and dip again until a prime resurgence pops up . I'm literally have no interest in touching warframe until tennicon for the free gifts and collectibles.
