**Photos seem a little pixelated (to me at least) and I think it's because I may have used the wrong settings to export for KZfaq. Follow me on Instagram for better photos and I will fix this in future videos!
Super excited to be talking about my gear setup for hiking/landscape photography in this video! I've finally completed my Fuji kit (...for now) as well as good quality accessories; something that's taken me years to finally invest in. Hope you enjoy!

Great video! Love your gear, and most of those I plan to get months ago. You mentioned being a casual photographer, and I feel the same right now. I am a Fujifilm XT-4 with a 16-55mm f2.8, because on stills and video features. I love it, but I've haven't been doing anything professional yet, so you're really helping me by inspiration to do more than what I am now. Thank you! I am looking towards Portrait and Landscape photography. I've been wanting to Vlog for a long time now too, but just overwhelmed with procrastinating (boo)

When going landscape shooting I always bring with me one 35mm film camera, usually the Nikon FE with the 50mm f/1.8 lens and one spare roll of film. Also I bring something to wipe the dust, rain or snow from my lens ... and do not laugh I always have a plastic shower cap in case I need to protect my camera from the weather

Haha love the shower cap. I usually like bringing a 35mm film camera as well but I've found that my fingers have been way too cold in the winter to enjoy shooting film

Peak design has a product that covers the camera as well as the lens. Helpful if the body or lens is not weather sealed.

Really enjoying your channel, nice to get a women's perspective. I've been looking for a new smaller tripod, looks like a nice option. I always like to see what other photographers carey in there bags.

Thanks so much! The peak design one has been really good for me, but definitely pricey which is still a huge downside. I don't regret it though but am still hesitant to recommend it to everyone because of its price - although if you can comfortably afford it, it's a great option!

@@Arianna-zx1ro it is but it comes with its head so that makes the price tolerable, the cf version is crazy $$$.

@@ryanbeer5262 Ah yes I would never get the CF version because I wouldn't get my money's worth out of it. But it looks awesome

Not much you can do with GoPro battery life I've found, they just suck big time... but with Fuji I have gotten in the habit of instantly switching off the camera when I am not contemplating taking a shot, on top of setting the sleep mode. Also I try to stay away from the LCD live view and limit my chimping to a "must need" . Fortunately with the X-Pro2 we have the OVF but I will sometimes use the mini corner EVF in the OVF mode if I am critical of my focus and exposure, having the mini histogram overlay in the OVF helps with that as well. All those combined really makes a difference in my battery life. That 90mm is an amazing lens, congrats. I used mine once for a slight Pano (stitched) landscape and once it was all done it gave me a 200mp pano that was tack sharp. I mainly got it for Portraits which it does brilliantly but the 135mm FF equivalent field of view makes it a real versatile lens. I'm liking your choices so far with your Fuji set up. Right now I have my eye on the new (2nd generation) 27mm pancake lens for a grab and go with the X-Pro2.

Thanks! The 90mm is awesome so far. Haven't been able to test it on humans but I've been using it on my dog haha. I'll have to get in the habit of using the OVF more. For the most part, I turn off my camera when not in use (when I don't forget to) so I think the OVF will help me even more with Fuji battery life.

As someone else said, the GoPro Battery life is a huge disadvantage, but well, it’s also running for a long continuous time, so it still does a ton of work. What are your thoughts on your Peak Design Tripod?? I was thinking of buying one, but god, they’re so expensive :( Plus, another question, but about an item you don’t talk about here because you replaced it. The Brevite. What was your experience with cleaning it?? I’ve got a Pink Jumper, and its started to get dirty, so I’m not sure how to really clean it and not damage it. Just asking for tips. One last thing. Do you use vintage lenses on your digital cameras?? I’m just a really big fan of them + a speedbooster on my Fuji to keep the original focal length equivalency and it gets a bit more light, so I just wanted to pass that on haha. I use the Viltrox FX2, and I really love it, so If you wanna change up your approach a bit you could try that. Any questions about that I’m all ears, either through here or IG. Great video again, hope to see more soon :D

Thank you!! As for the Brevite bag, I own a black runner photo model so I do still use it but only really for shoots that are indoors or less "rugged" (used it for a coffee shop shoot today). However, since it's black, I don't face the issue of it getting dirty (which is why I went for the black even though I loved the lighter colors). I would say Brevite customer service is awesome - so if you email them they should get back to you pretty quick with a response that should hopefully help! For the vintage lenses, I haven't used any yet as I only own Olympus Zuiko lenses but I would love to in the future! Obviously that's a pretty popular topic so any tips on that would be appreciated too! I have no idea where to even start!

@@Arianna-zx1ro yeah, that must be a really big advantage of having a black one. I considered getting a darker tone myself, like the Green one, but I’m sure it would have also gotten noticeably dirty. Concerning vintage lenses, they’re really cheap, and since you have two different sensor sizes on your cameras, that opens up more options for you. I thought I saw in another one of your videos that you had an Olympus OM-10 or something like that, the film camera, and you could probably just get an adapter from Olympus To Fuji or Olympus to M43 and use that one. That would open up even more options. Like I said, if you have any questions about someone else’s experience, HMU. :)
