Okay first: you gotta a punter that has a cannon leg so you can properly flip the field and not rely on the bounce. Second: It’s nice to see the defense be great now and reliable, especially with a good amount of them being freshman. Third: This season has been insane! Can’t wait to see what you do with national recruiting now!

One thing I like to do that you could incorporate if you wanted, is I go person by person in coaching carousel, and when you get a new coordinator hired, it shows what playbook they use, then you switch the playbook to whatever each coordinators playbook is. Makes each season feel a little different. Unless it absolutely sucks, then you say the head coach has taken over play calling 😂

Haven’t watched it yet but predict the team will be ranked 11th or 12th at the end of the season they are too good to fail this year and it’s Joel Johnson’s senior season so he’s gotta go out with a bang and make it to the playoffs Edit 1: (SPOILERS) The Zach Wilson kick return to win the game vs Toledo was absolutely the greatest play in school history, he is channeling is inner Matt Land clutching in the 4th quarter. Can already tell my pre-watch prediction was not optimistic enough this is a SATISFYING team to watch Edit 2: (SPOILERS) STOP RUNNING WITH PAT SMITH SO MUCH HE WAS BOUND TO GET INJURED. He can run like Lamar Jackson but getting running touches at an RB rate is crazy for a QB who has like an 88% completion rate when throwing

This so probably the best rebuild he’s ever done, most of them you can see the transformation and how they get better. But with Grand Rapids they started with literally nothing and have come all this way, it’s crazy how good they have become and how good this series is.
