I’ve tried the custard before and it worked but I had stopped using it because the flaking I got was too much. I’m guessing now that I may not have used enough water. Your hair looked so good so I may just try it again and this time in the shower too.

Your hair turned out so pretty. I see them inches 😂☺️ Kinky Curly Custard is my go to. It’s has my hair so moisturized. The Curl Maker is my 2nd go to. Love the tip on the hair spray and I can use that towel. Where can I purchase it? Thanks in advance and great to see ya☺️

I might have to try shower styling. My hair has been struggling ever since I stopped taking birth control a few months ago. I swear it's like post-partum shedding without the pregnancy 😬. (And research shows this can happen after you stop taking birth control.) Anyways love the video, keep em coming! ❤

I've literally revisited this combo (after many many years of totally forgetting about it) a few weeks ago and have been hooked since too! But girl...the flakes!!!! My results are phenomenal (we have similar hair texture), but I just can't with flakes. I style on sopping wet hair. I just tried adding oil to the custard for tonight's wash (soaking wet hair, apply kinky curly leave in, take some custard and add a few drops of oil to it on the palm of my hand, emulsify, apply to hair). Fingers crossed it works, but if it doesn't I don't think I can deal with the flakes anymore 😢 Do you have any tips on how to deal with the flakes? 😥

Oh no!!! I would try using a curl refresh spray to help minimize the flakes! I find that when I get flakes it could be that my hair needs a little moisture/spray/water to help!
