@@HeXtian Maybe you could save the Lightning bolts the one's you took out 18:19 for another doll project, like maybe a MLP FIM doll coat or a dark version of Rainbow dash. While re-watching one of the episodes of MLP FIM where Chrysalis created dark versions of them & it just hit me a Dark mane 6. Or maybe more improved Monster High Jacket, or Mini self as an Oc Monster High Drag Queen with gorgeous lightning jacket.

I love how you make the characters actually look how they would really be, however I hate how they designed G3 clothes & makeup 😩I was like uh no big no no & no. If you did Cleo & give her lots of touch ups and change makeover to give her the iconic Egyptian style she be the crowning glory of Egypt, if you did Clawdeen and give her outfit some fixer upper she be ready for the full moon dance. (Howl) ( I don't like the glasses) Lagoona however, I feel like she had the most drastic change from blue skin and blonde hair to just pastel vibes. So, I want to see how your redesign of her and also hear your thoughts on the new Lagoona because in my opinion, the other four are still in their original aesthetic realm, and the color palette, (I still miss the blue skin) Ghoulia hmm all I can think is her iconic G1 outfit looks fine & as for Deuce Gorgon maybe some punk with mythology for his outfit. The team really lost a shot of rep with Lagoona. It would have been so awesome for her to be Aboriginal or maybe mixed Latina and Aboriginal (indigenous Australian).

@@isabellebise8440 that honestly would’ve been so neat. I really wish they’d kept the more realistic features of the dolls, stuff like ethnic or cultural backgrounds, such as Skelita’s style being heavily inspired by Mexican culture, with her background coming from Hexico. They also had Abby’s Himalayan inspired culture as well. Many other characters too with Clawdeen’s Brooklyn accent, Draculara’s Romanian-esc accent, Cleo’s Egyptian heritage, and so much more. Monster High was really known for having lots of diversity, and I’m so disappointed that they kinda just removed all of it.

@@moonie406 i get what ur saying but frankie is a more femme nb ghoul so i feel like they might feel like "queen". we don't know about frankies gender expression, and they are a mix of male and female scientists' parts, so maybe they'd be cool with "queen" in a non-gender specific way. i don't disagree with "royal" tho

@@kerokero9 they actually aren’t made of female or male scientists parts, they’re made of random human parts, I feel like them being made of female and male parts would be kind of corny especially if that’s why they’re saying Frankie is non binary, it gives of the gesture that non-binary people are male and female when it’s the complete opposite.

I agree totally!! I’m non-binary and autistic (whilst they haven’t used the word autism (yet! Hopefully), their behavior is very autism-coded), and it’s so nice to be seen :)

Although you gotta admit that for those who grew up with g1 (aka the og) like me, it is horrifying to see how much they changed the characters and even their personalities! Yes I have nothing against g3 Frankie being non-binary but to the extent of changing her personality, it is too much.

@@saturn2896 it’s a reboot for a reason. it’s not meant to be the same. if you like g1, watch g1 🤷🏼 i grew up with g1 too, and i still like g3 aswell. they’re different and i like them both for different reasons (this is not intended to come across as aggressive, my apologies if it does: im not great with tone)

I think it was something like they were just called Frankie in tye TV shows and pronouns were never used or something like that? But anyway yeah

@@HeXtian Hehehe thank you! I just really love new Frankie, they actually remind me a bit of Dawn of the Dance Frankie, which was one of the best Monster High dolls ever designed. Tho I agree that the neck bolts are missing and they'd look much cooler with them. I dunno, I feel like a lot of the harsh criticism towards G3 just comes from nostalgia to G1. Which is crazy to me, cause I was a die hard fan of Monster High ever since I was 7 years old and saw the first ever Monster High commercial on TV back in 2010, and I still absolutely love G3. I hope they arrive to Brazil soon and aren't too expensive lol 💝

I love how g1 didn't shy away from using black and dark colors, but g3 is just so pleasing to look at with their signature colors 🥰 it awokes the same happy receptors in my brain when I look at rainbow high dolls

I like the dark aspect of the gen 1 dolls more, but I can see why you and others like the bright colors. It's okay for you to like them in the gen 3 styles; it might not be some people's cup of tea. But I'm sure you are not alone in enjoying bright colors. I do in other fandoms, like how vibrantly bright and colorful outfits get like in Totally Spies. I liked the dark aspect of the dolls, and it was the hook for me cuz they stood out for it.
