I remember yesterday or day before I'd asked him in comments obviously to make make a review about the handlebars and here I come open youtube and there I saw a video named My custom handle bar setup - Interceptor 650 by Srinivas Ganesh. 😀

If you are considering buying quadlock for 13.5k(Mount) + 4.5K (Dampener) + case, you should consider cheaper mount and a cheaper phone for the same price or even less price and save your good costlier phone form harsh hot weather of india. and also it is good for your battery life in long run. just saying...
@SrinivasGanesh
@SrinivasGanesh Ай бұрын
Or make friends abroad who visit India from time to time and get you Quadlock mount with vibration dampener in under INR 6k, because you want quality stuff which will last a long time and not buy cheap stuff and replace it ever 6 months. 🙏🏽

Hi Srinivas, thanks for sharing your modifications. On my int650 (your same model) I just added risers +4cm, from Zana motorcycle, in order to have a more vertical position during riding. Bye

Thank you for watching the video! :) I would most probably be going for the motone up and over risers for Interceptor 650. Those look really premium, plus I'm saving up for it too as they are quite expensive.

Hi Srinivas, thanks for sharing your mods with good detail. Quick correction on handlebar diameter - should be 7/8" and not 0.8". Have you considered swapping the BS3-type switches for new rotary ones? Or any reasons that dissuade you from doing that?
@SrinivasGanesh
@SrinivasGanesh 2 ай бұрын
Thank you for the information. ✌🏽 No I have not tried to add rotary switches for two reasons 1) It requires splicing cables to be able to install those, which is a no no for me, all my mods are bolt on fit. Even the turn signals that I have installed. (watch that video for more info) 2) Rotary switches in my opinion are not ergonomically built. BS3 type switches are much more comfortable and practical to use.
@srinivaskirthy
@srinivaskirthy 2 ай бұрын
@@SrinivasGanesh My thoughts as well. The pass switch placement on regular switch cubes + possibility of adding headlight off switch outweigh the aesthetics of the rotaries. On splicing cables - you can swap connectors from older to compatible holders. But that's besides the point.

great narration and filming !! 👍 are bar end mirrors really work as intended or just for looks purspose as they comes at very steep price compare to regular ones . i like those levers really looks premium & functional !!!
@SrinivasGanesh
@SrinivasGanesh 11 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching the video! :) They add style factor to it. Just a different way of mounting mirrors. However, my reason for changing them was, because I am tall, I often see my own shoulders and they sort of hindered the view behind. But, yes nothing more in terms of functionality. The bar end mirrors from Royal Enfield do come at a steep price, but so does the touring version of the mirrors.

Thanks for another informative and well narrated video, although I could do without the collision with the van....😅.I noticed the braided brake line. Does that change the feel when braking?
@SrinivasGanesh
@SrinivasGanesh 11 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching the video. :) That braided brake line comes as standard. The feel of the brake is good and has a good bite to it. You do get to feel that behind the handlebars. :) Lol. At that moment of impact I surely thought I lost a let. But thankfully the speed was low and learned from my mistake. And now I use it as a funny meme. 🤣

Which handlebar risers would be perfect on the stock handlebar for a 5.7ft rider?
@SrinivasGanesh
@SrinivasGanesh 11 ай бұрын
Any more than 1 inch risers, then you would probably need longer cables. But any 1 inch riser would do the job.

@SrinivasGanesh
@SrinivasGanesh 11 ай бұрын
Well, it's an air cooled engine, sadly that is just the way the heat dissipates. I guess I was used to it given the fact that I used to Ride a Harley Fat boy before this, so I'm used to it. But I ride with good riding gear, so I barely feel anything, unless I am standing under the midday sun, and that too stuck in a traffic jam, then surely I would melt. Or anyone for that matter. But yes, I'll do some research and make one video for sure.
