I love that Boruto not only gave up his entire day with Naruto for Himawari but he was also going to keep Sarada company since she would be alone. Then when Boruto finds Sasuke in he immediately sends him to Sarada despite the fact that it leaves him alone. Does a great job showing how much he really cares about them. Also seeing Sasuke connect with Sarada in his own way through training is always so satisfying.

Also, I'm not sure if it's this episode - but when boruto walked up to Sarada when training - she was struggling to hit the target dead center. Then boruto casually throws one and gets it perfect. I think that's meant to show he's definitely more like Minato when it comes to natural skill rather than naruto who kept fucking up

I’m the oldest sibling of 4, boruto’s willingness to fight anyone for and/or give up his own joyful moments for his younger sibling’s happiness in experiencing those moments in his stead is peak relatability

When Sasuke suggested tomatoes...he probably genuinely wanted her to accept his offer because tomatoes are his favorite food. While Sarada's least favorite food is tomatoes. Also, in the novel...Sasuke was sulking about the whole interaction with Sarada, while Sakura was giving him a haircut. Annnd Kakashi...specifically went out of his way to troll him.

Sakura was cutting Sasuke's hair when Sasuke and Sakura were talking about Sarada in the light novel. Also Sasuke and Choji had interaction in the light novel. Anime deleted it.

Best parent child episode in Boruto. Sasuke literally was destroyed mentally and emotionally by all the tragic things that happened to him. I don’t care how awkward he is or how he has to protect the world so he’s not around much. He’s still an amazing father and a much better family man than his brother and father.

It’s a bit painful to watch his social skills. After all, this fellow spent his entire youth being lied to and in misguided pursuit of “righteous revenge”. He’s barely had any normal interactions in all of Naruto. On another note, I bet you never thought you’d ever see a day when a literal god of Shinobi and ladykiller call his daughter a peanut…..and gets roasted!

For a guy who played 2nd fidle to his older brother & then losing his parents entirely at a very young age, he doing great in trying to be a good dad. All these w/o a role model to base off. Everyone hating on Dad Sasuke srsly needs to piss off.
