Having been an inline street skater... I will be buying crashpads for hoverboarding. And of course I will wear a helmet. And gloves. Also bought lightweight knee-shin guards (the shin part is mainly to help keep the knee pad in place). Probably should wear elbow guards too, but not sure which ones. Hoverboarding is for fun exercise, not for transportation. My homemade electric bike, very lightweight, fast, and with big wheels, is for transportation.
