Another great video from D & J. Can I suggest that you impress the D & J into the concrete by having the letters in relief rather than having spaces to be filled by the concrete. This can be done by building up each of the letters so they are between 1 and 2 cm raised. This will leave the impression into the concrete rather than the other way around. The impressions will last a lot longer this way and not get chipped off as you move blocks around, material roughens etc.

Great to see the swans back. I would invert the lettering in the blocks so it leaves D & J Projects pressed into the concrete. If it's like you have already done the letters could break off. You could even make a stencil to spray your lettering black (or any other colour) and because it's below the surface it would last for years and stand out more!

You need to get a trolley to move the panels etc down the passageways, wouldn't cost much but would make life easier. Hope your back gets better soon.

I think that the cut out stensil lettering you have will just keep on filling with concret bud if its imbossed it won't. Looking forward to seeing this new trommell. Yay the swans are back and they have had the sense to build higher up the bank. That fencing looked amazing but I agree with others that one old panel should have been replaced as well and well done Scotty I rewound and looked at that panel and one of those featheredge strips was definitely the wrong colour. Stevie you should have one of those trollies they use in builders merchants for transporting all the posts and gravel boards ,especially for the long alley way deliveries.

a note to the blocks not only do the letters need to be bigger but they need to be bevelled to stop the edges catching on the concrete. keep up the good work:)

Another great video guy's another swinging camera comment must only like the tea cups. Don't even mention it on the next video that's what they want an absolute pony. Love watching you guy's keep it coming. (more swinging the better)

28:45 When you get the letters cut you need to have them chamfer the cut of the letters, otherwise the concrete will stick. You still might need something to stop the concrete sticking - I just slosh on a bit of vegetable oil with a brush to help it detach.

Hi Dave n crew, great job as usual. Just a suggestion if I may, hardcore is a good resource and saves more expensive materials. How about giving a small discount for collections if it contains a minimum amount of hardcore and separated to save time at point of collection.

For the sign Dave you need the letters to emboss instead of stand Proud, would much better and be easier to use

Guys, do you make gravel board's with hedhog hole's, I've seen them before but never seen you use them ?

Dave - for the letters to work well, the sides of the letters should be angled so they release easily from the concrete. Use form oil on the letters as well to ease the release. All that together with a larger, simple font, should deliver success.

Defo should of had that last panel ,customers decision thou so

Dave the stamp would be better maybe if you have the individual letters cut out say 6mm thick and welded to a plate so it makes an impression, so letters would be stamped inwards and mould would release better maybe? rather than the way you are trying as the letters will brake off in the mould and fill the letters up and concentrate will be stuck in the stamp all the time ?
