Your parents are remarkable people! Thank God for them each day. Funny story: I will be 54 this year and we are a new Mimi and Pa to our first grandchild. As I am the oldest of 4 girls, my father never had a son. When I had the first grandson, my dad showed up, picked him up and unswaddled him to his birthday suit! I asked him “dad, WHAT are you doing? He’s cold!” He said “ I’m just making sure a boy. I’ve been alone with a house full of women so long I have too see.” Now we’ve had 4 boys born in succession after him and when Mae was born, his great, he was OVER the moon to be back to his girls! I know your daddy is awesome and to you, the best. Praise God I have one too. Congrats on your precious blessing from God.
