Except the maps are about as awful as BF2042's were at launch, and while I'm all for low-poly, I find the boxy character models really offputting, and so do the friends I've talked to about this game. Don't get me wrong, I like almost everything else about BattleBit, but the maps and character models are trash tier. I sincerely hope they improve on both these things, because this game is getting a lot of things right, such as proximity voice chat, being able to break down walls, proper server browser, etc. As for the models, POLYGON is able to have a low-poly aesthetic without the characters looking like they've come Straight Outta Roblox, so I'm sure BattleBit could do the same. At least change the heads so they aren't cubes. That's all I ask. 🥲

@@NobbsAndVagene Do you mean playermodels like Synty studio does for Unity assets ? For me it would be a good step if the game had ambient occlusion, because it's hard to tell what is a wall and what is floor on some maps (looking at you, French metro and Lonovo basements)

@@NobbsAndVagenethe thing is that doing so ruins the “battlebit” aesthetic. If you want better graphics then play games like Arma, or squad, or HLL, cause battlebit was designed to look the way it does.

If anyone got confused when he survived the heli crash, just know its an actual feature. You can survive an helicrash if your chopper gets disabled and crashes into the ground. Its really cool

Found out today you can spawn in on your team mate as he is freefalling from an exploded helicopter. I actually spawned in when he was like 10 feet from the ground and i broke an ankle as he splatted in front of me from his 200 foot fall and i was able to revive him. Honestly could be a next level strat is coordinated correctly...
