The winter is so beautiful, and yet it can be so hard sometimes that it makes me cry happy-tears thinking about the summer. This winter has been extra hard. Crazy amounts of snow and extreme cold weather for over 3 weeks. It takes a lot of energy to keep up the normal life. But it also gives a lot of energy with all the beauty that the winter brings. It's a love-hate relationship.
In this video I share glimpses of what I've been up to for the past month. Both the struggles, but also all the beautiful moments. I also share some behind the scenes of my previous video, when I went on a road trip to the very North of Sweden to record some footage.
I really hope you will enjoy the video! And thank you for all your comments!!
Much love to all of you ♥

In Scandinavia it’s common to let babies nap outside in their strollers. The babies are dressed appropriately and warm and snuggly between duvets and/or furs, of course, but even now in my mid 40s I long for the possibility to get comfy in a sleeping bag and sleep with the smell of chill fresh air lulling me to sleep. ..only I can’t really take the time off to go camping right now, and my wife thinks I’m odd when I pitch a tent in the garden in the winter.

I’m watching this video again after my mum has just passed. I always find strength in Jonna’s videos because this is the only person I know who can find beauty in almost anything, and has a childlike sense of awe and wonder but is brave, fearless yet so human through it all. Her wonderful family is so strong, life-loving, happy and resilient. Nanook just makes me so happy just to watch. I received a small, beautiful bracelet from her jewelry shop and I was ashamed to say it was the first time I could cry properly after my mum passed yesterday after a very short cancer battle. It ripped us to pieces as a family and I’m glad she’s laid her burden down. I’m so happy at least she’s not suffering today. Thank you Jonna and Johan for helping me even if unwittingly.

I’m so grateful you show all the beauty but also all the hardship of living in such challenging environments. Very often only the nice parts get shown and people end up making rush decisions which then lead to disappointment and potentially hate towards the place they move to. But you show it all, if a person decides to make such a drastic life change and move to a remote location like this, then you’re showing them both sides of the medal. I moved to a tiny town 9 days ago. I was scared to risk it, as none of my friends and family have lived outside a city and I don't know how it works. These videos, especially about winter hardships and solutions, were like a tutorial for me. Also, all this content has provided so much inspiration! So, now I'm here, walking around the forest every day. Thank you so much! I believe art and storytelling change the world for better.

I love the silence that you enjoy without any hassle....we in city thrive hardest for a moment of silence....and I felt that God is to be realised in silence only.....you are brave and thus, lucky 🙏🏻
