Thank you so much for your kind words! ☺️☺️ I learned a lot of things while working at this boba shop ranging from customer service to teas in general. I was introduced to a wide variety of teas while working here that made me fascinated and truly appreciate tea more. Also, interacting with a lot of different customers helped me establish a greater sense of hospitality. I think some tips I would advice is to try to work somewhere that is related to your area of interest (even with part time jobs such as this). I love boba & I’ve always wanted to learn more about the process, which is why I applied here. Working somewhere that is interesting to you helps keep you motivated. I would also advice being very friendly to the customers and trying to give them the best experience. Although there are days where I feel a little down, I try my best to prevent those feelings from affecting my interactions with customers. It feels very comforting knowing that you tried your best. on a side note, one AMAZING boba combo I tried while working there is coffee and boba. I never expected coffee to pair so well with boba, but I recommend you try it. :)

I also work at a boba place and you’re video really inspired my interest into making boba again and I definitely agree with everything you’ve said. Also, being able to mix drinks and experience drinks for free is really nice. I’ll give coffee and boba a shot next time. My favorite would be the Matcha MT but I’d say the kiwi yogurt is very interesting. Thank you again💯

Elijah Montefalco you can choose the sweetness level of your drink which is usually 0%,25%,50%,75%, or 100%. It depends on the boba shop, but most use that scale :) you can also request for it to be extra sweet!

congrats! i've been helping out at my parents' boba shop for 3 years now. it's a relatively easy job, and not very messy. i would say it's like any other food service job, except boba attracts younger clientele (students and young adults), so it's actually easier to deal with customers bc theyre not usually karens lol. perhaps the main downside is that it's a low-wage job, don't expect much of a raise. also, even if you can have free boba anytime, you should really be careful of your sugar intake. otherwise, it's a decent fun job!

@@salamiander im alr working there for around 2 weeks and i love it!! my colleagues are so fun to work with and the job is quite easy, its not as tiring as i expected it to be!! and i get free boba every shift so :))

@@RyumonieBlackshot for now i dint need to!! i only have to work at the shakers and theyre training me to do kitchen now (make tapioca, tea etc.) normally theyll teach u how to mix after a couple of months

question. I want to work at a boba store and I haven't had any job experiences other than helping my parents at their bakery. I'm low-key stupid especially when talking to customers cuz I get scared. but I do like working at the back eg, prepping, cleaning making food. is it possible to work with the drinks and other back stuff only instead of being at the register or does it not work like that and depends on the store??
