This new X-Men event is so much freaking fun. I love that a deck completely dedicated to the X-Men can actually win!
Decklist: snap.untapped....
Power Estimate: This deck had a really solid win rate for me through the first hour, in large part thanks to all the free power from the X-Men event buff. There are probably much better ways to build a similar list that don't lean into the event so completely, but this still worked rather well despite its overcommitment.

I love that the title says “it's kind of strong?!” bc when I started snap I quickly realized that there were so many X-men in the game that it was crazy. The game’s gotta be like 60% X-men.

Yeah, but take into account that this was X-Men only, not mutants overall. Cards like Juggernaut or Selene got ignored, as well as cards too OP for the imbalance patch (ejem, Deadpool, ejem)

Holy Moly, Regis! This deck is fun, powerful and has rekindled my love of Cable and Mirage. I've climbed from 70-86 so far. Well done Sir!

This event has been really fun. I put together hybrid zoo/lockdown with X-Men characters that I completely expected to be losing cubes with, but ended up having respectable 52% win rate. That X-Men buff combined with Prof X and Storm locking down locations took lot of opponents by surprise.

@@nelsondavidgalvisgarrido2391 Sunspot, Iceman, Nightcrawler, Armor, Mysterio, Bishop, Wolfsbane, Storm, Hope, Shang-Chi, Professor X, Blue Marvel There are probably better decks around there, but I'm still missing half of S3 cards so I just threw together something I could use. Basic idea is to get one location for cheap with either Prof X or Storm and then use Bishop and/or Wolfsbane to build lot of power on the second lane.

I love this! When I first started playing Snap I fully expected team synergies/buffs to be a thing, and it was weird that they weren't. I'm all for more events like this!

Except they did avengers wrong on this. Should've been th3 same buff not 3 in a lane. And xmen have more synergies then avengers.

Never watched it all but the Cable and Bishop episodes of the 90s show were some of my favourites from memory, always interested in the likes of forge, Bishop and cable in the dystopian future

I really hope they add more buffs like these and make them a permanent staple of conquest or their own actual game mode. Imagine a defenders team that could maybe allow you to move each member around freely once you played 4 of them. Or a midnight suns themed deck that could summon the hunter as a huge power token card if you played a member each turn akin to an occult summoning ritual. More stuff like this would add a ton of new deck building ideas and really shake the meta

I have absolutely loved this event. It made teams relevant again. So much so that it's aggravating that they don't already have built in synergies for teams. But this has made me enjoy the game again, instead of just slogging my way through it.

I've been running Wolfsbane in my bounce deck pretty much since I started it. I had it way before I got Hit Monkey and Beast, and it felt so right especially being able to Kitty Pryde and then Wolfsbane. Obviously I added Hit Monkey once I got him in, but I still run Wolfsbane in there cause a second proc is just so much power.

Wolfsbane was a card I ran consistently with my bounce decks. Until they nerfed bounce decks and kinda ruined the archetype. But yeah, she's a solid fit in bounce decks. Easily get her to double digit power.

I love this deck! Just out of curiosity, why not include Sunspot (instead of Nightcrawler or Iceman)? I would guess, given that all of the costs of the cards are low Sunspot would be a huge advantage and would also make your opponent think you were running SheNaut (I know it doesn't synergize well with Beast, but still?).

Well, it depends a lot on the thumbnail. Maybe I should do a video on it. For this one, I take Bishop's art and desaturate it down to black and white. Then I applied a blue filter and tweaked the colors and contrast til I got something I liked. I grabbed the big ice wave and some other elements from Ice Man, and voila!

@@RegisKillbin yeah I know some are easier but some rlly wondering me as for example thumbnail Mockingbird x titania. Ofc face and color blend but i noticed u restored her hair and ads her sticks . I wonder if it wasn't a lot of work for just one thumbnail!. I respect it very much. I think he’s technically classified as a mutate as opposed to a mutant. Something happened to him that caused a mutation giving him powers, they’re not a natural manifestation of an X Gene.
