My first deliverance happened by myself meaning no assistance from a teacher, just me and God. It was about two years ago. There was a feeling of hatred and I kept saying it's wrong to hate that person i don't want to hate. Then I prayed fervently for God to help me. As i persisted I saw the spirit leave my body, i was not expecting to see it so clearly. It looked like the shriveled things in the Hercules movie. I struggled with fear and shame for a long time and was delivered from those this year, glory to God. Im so happy more Christians are becoming aware of the spiritual realm

So amazing! I had similar feelings this past year of bitter feelings towards someone for NO REASON. I wanted to like them so much, but just felt judgment towards them all year. I got prayer during my deliverance session and she said there was a spirit of intimidation over that relationship.

Hey Kian! I love that you are sharing your deliverance experience and also truth about the spirit realm! I was introduced to deliverance about 2 years ago and me and my husband’s lives have changed TREMENDOUSLY!! He has been healed from ADHD and so many other things! We’re now a part of a ministry called the Supernatural Life that operates in deliverance ministry. We’ve seen crazy manifestations like you mentioned, but also great freedom from people who have had 0 manifestations. Be encouraged that you are free!

I love this video, i love when you share about your faith and experiences you have. I also had gotten deliverance before, i went to this church in Tennessee about a year ago, and they did a mass deliverance service. We first all started renouncing certain things and repenting of any sins, known or unknown. Then he started calling the spirits out. I had SO many spirits come out/off me. I was crying the whole entire time, many people were manifesting spirits, it was wild but so amazing to see the Holy Spirit freeing so many people including myself. I felt so "off" after, like learning how to live as a new person really, bc i was carrying these spirits around for years. But i felt so free !!

So grateful that you shared on the topic of deliverance. I have been profoundly impacted by it in my faith walk and have found that like you mentioned, many American christians are ignorant to it, fearful of it, or believe it's unnecessary. For me, I never had a crazy past before Christ, but I still had a lot to break off including a soul tie from inappropriate emotional attachment with someone and had some generational things I was completely unaware of. After my deliverance I felt like I could breathe differently and like a huge weight was gone and my thoughts clearer. I also have had tons of dreams about casting out spirits before I ever knew or learned about it and my husband had the same kind of dreams and now we are learning together. Deliverance is part of us walking in our inheritance and the fullness of freedom that Christ paid for. I am encouraged to see the Body of Christ here talking about it more and seeing it become more common. People tend to love the heal the sick part of Jesus's ministry but steer away from casting out demons which is so sad because He paid for us to walk in this freedom and authority.

Hi Kian, I know we have differing theologies and biblical doctrine, so I might get some opposing replies (I’m open to conversation!) but as a cessationist, who at the same time yes, does believe that demonic oppression is still a thing even in believers, and looking at Job’s life and Peter’s in the Bible, who were sought out by the devil, I still believe that there is a danger in altogether in not recognizing that our own sinful flesh can be our enemy as well. When we try to put an overemphasis on demonic activity, without recognizing that we too, cause ourselves to stumble because of our depraved sinful nature, it causes for a lacking in true repentance because we will often want to blame the devil rather than checking our own hearts and praying that the Lord would work out anything in our hearts that cause us to sin. Honestly at the end of the day it doesn’t even really mean much to play the game of “whose fault is this?”. What matters is how we respond and if we take a look at Job’s initial response to the tragedy he faced when he said, “The Lord gives and the Lord takes, blessed be the name of the Lord.” That was the most God honoring, appropriate response he could have had. I know it kind of went downhill from there and ultimately he gets rebuked by God but if he had only stopped there, he would have been truly righteous. When we have sin in our lives, or go through trials and tribulations, our response no matter who or what it is that’s causing it should always be to immediately praise the Lord for His working in our lives. If we are saved, then we believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in us and is constantly working sin out in our lives through the means of sanctification. Whenever sin in my heart is exposed to me, I know that the right response isn’t “the devil is at work”- it’s “The Holy Spirit is at work, showing me this area in my life that needs refinement. Lord, by Your Grace, help me overcome this. Thank you for revealing this sin to me. Help me seek to glorify Your Name in every area of my life. And may Your Name be glorified in me.” Also another note, generational curses are not biblical. There is nothing in scripture that even speaks to that. And getting into that is dangerous because it leads you too far into mysticism. Unbiblical ideas lead to unbiblical solutions. I would suggest really asking your pastor where from scripture he can defend that as a thing, or to find another church where the pastors can actually shepherd you better using the truth found in the actual Word of God. Anyway, I hope you read this! - Just a sister in Christ who doesn’t want to see anyone blindly being led into non biblical ideas.
@1love1hope1faith
@1love1hope1faith 8 ай бұрын
I think generational curses come from this passage in the Bible, I’m not saying it’s right or wrong but that’s where it’s from but I could be wrong …..also I just don’t think that she was saying we blame the devil for our sin as she was saying the things we have opened ourselves up to we are to ask to be forgiven and so shut the door to the enemy of our soul to stop attacking us. “keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭34‬:‭7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Just wanted to put this reminder out there that if you are in Christ and have the Holy Spirit, you can experience spiritual warfare and still struggle with sin, but we are not vulnerable the way an unbeliever is. We cannot be bound and have a spirit attached to us. This is not to say that if someone describes a deliverance experience that they are lying or are not a Christian, but rather that they are giving too much credit to the enemy. Let this be a reminder that the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer!

Loved what you talked about with all the ways we can open ourselves up to the enemy ! So you said having sexual dreams are not good but you can’t really control what your dream are, are they not just a collection of thoughts of things you have in your memory that’s why they can make no sense? Can you recommend someone to watch on what you were talking about?
@Alexa-qn6ke
@Alexa-qn6ke 6 ай бұрын
In a sense dreams are extensions of thoughts or experiences, but that can include memories that we’ve not consciously thought of or trauma that we would never choose to think of. For example, my dad has nightmares reliving the moment my sister died, or nightmares that other members of my family unexpectedly die, since her unexpected death. his mind is using his memory against him in his dreams, but obviously he is not trying to relive that memory. Same is true of sexual dreams, you don’t have to be consciously sinning during the day for your mind to do that at night. Also, on the topic of this video, I would urge you to study the fact that yes we can open ourselves up to temptation, BUT we have the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit, so any other Spirit can’t attach itself to us. Influence us through our choices, yes, but it can’t get INSIDE you. Maybe that’s what she meant, but I think many Christian’s live in fear that they could be demon possessed or something. One of the reasons the Holy Spirit dwells inside us is because then a demonic force can’t attach itself to us, even when we do sin. I think it’s an important distinction.

I have a similar past to you and also experience the sexual nightmares... they've been coming and going on and off since i was saved in 2019.. ive prayed and prayed, tried to get deliverance, renounced all the sins i can remember, tried to break soul ties through prayer but they still always come back.. its so frustrating and honestly makes me feel bitter towards God for it.. which then i feel guilty for.. it gets harder and harder to fight through prayer because i keep getting more and more discouraged that he doesn't protect me even when i cover myself in prayer.. if he makes me dwell in safety then why are strangers/demons raping me in my dreams.. i wake up exhausted and traumatized.. anyways sorry im kind of rambling ive just been meaning to ask if the dreams stopped after they prayed for you? love you!

Hi Kian - I found this video and the experiences you shared very intriguing. I am a Christian and I also struggle with OCD, specifically scrupulosity, which is obsessions/intrusive thoughts related to my faith. The reason I share this is because I think it might be helpful for you to put a disclaimer on this video for viewers who may struggle with these kinds of things. While I fully agree with you that cultivating a healthy spiritual life and fighting the enemy is very important, I also think that if we become too fixated on spiritual warfare we can fall into fear and anxiety. Just some of my thoughts, no hate whatsoever 💛

Hi Marisa, I have struggled with OCD and scrupulosity for many years. God used exposure therapy/counseling to heal me from my scrupulosity, though other OCD themes remain for me (and I still pray for healing, and I still go to therapy!). Just want to say I appreciate your honesty and that I feel you and know what it's like and how painful it can be. There's diverse opinions about spiritual warfare, Halloween, etc. in the church, and I think in some ways, it's up to us to be able to hold some of those diverse beliefs or convictions in tension (EDIT for some clarity: holding that tension can also be a form of 'exposure therapy' in our minds! We can guard our hearts and thoughts by holding this tension and acknowledging our discomfort with it!). Thanks for sharing your thoughts, blessings to you!
@Kian_Wolfgang

Hi Marisa I just want to pray that the Lord would set you free from OCD and these intrusive thoughts! Philippians 4:6-7: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. I do believe God promises us a peaceful mind when we are in Him and you have authority against the enemy. It says we must guard our heart and mind in Jesus. I think being aware of spiritual warfare is what helps us learn how to guard against the principalities of darkness. If you watch the part at 20:40 I talk about why it's important to be aware, but I also mention we don't need to fixate on it. Just be aware enough to know how to fight in the spirit instead of the flesh like the bible instructs us to. (2 Corinthians 10:4-5, Ephesians 6:10-11, James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8-9) I do believe you will be set free! However, if these topics are triggering for you I have everything timestamped in the video, so you can skip over it.

Lovely vlog! I also love too how spoken with the boldness of the Holy Spirit within us on our FAITH in Christ Jesus and God's Word. SO NICE to see others who take a stand for the LORD and not celebrating or associating with things that are NOT of Our God, The Almighty! Such things are literately an abomination to the Lord. Its IMPORTANT to STAY in God's Word, RENEW our minds DAILY in the Word of GOD. That is the born again Christian's LIFE, a daily living sacrifice unto Our Heavenly Father, such as the example of Christ Jesus, Our Messiah. MANY here in the US are extremely blinded, in their flesh, very carnal minded which is dangerous and what the LORD wants to clean up and cleanse to READY HIS REMNANT to walk in the REAL ways of HIS WORD...to MOVE in the SPIRIT, NOT denying the POWER thereof of the HOLY SPIRIT...the Five Fold Ministry! Revival has been sweeping the nations, but I believe an ever increasing of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit will continue to BUILD SHOWING God's Kingdom here on earth before the SOON COMING OF JESUS, The Return of The Lion of Judea! Lets be found being a believer and DOER of the Word of the Living God, to go forth and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the Name of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. God Bless Your sweet Family! :) Legend is a beautiful, baby boy! Baby Fever! haha.

Halloween is a Christian holiday. It’s all hallows Eve, the day before we celebrate All Hallows Day/All Saints Day. Hallow means saint. In liturgical Christian church (catholic, episcopal, Anglican, etc) this is a day where we honor those who lived this Christian life before us. We remember and honor our those who have walked this path before us. The traditional church calendar spent this time of year remembering the reality and inevitably of death and the hope that exists within it. Undoubtably there are some traditions from Samhain that have carried through, but so are Christmas trees, so it the very pagan celebration of the 4th.

I’m a part of a Christian tradition where the church calendar-including Christmas, and Halloween-is very important to us. So it would go against my convictions to depart from that. I also do not hold any symbols with power. Satan and demons are not omniscient nor all mighty-they do not have the ability to have internal access to me-in my opinion. Therefore any symbols are just symbols. But that’s my faith tradition-you follow your own convictions of course. Additionally, I believe Christianity is strongest when it welcomes symbols of culture and integrate in to our tradition. richard twiss’ Saving the Gospel from The Cowboys speaks to this well. But obviously everyone has to do what the believe it is best. But I do think it’s silly to dismiss the millennia of Christian’s who have celebrated a holiday. And I think it’s harmful to cut us off from the history of those saints.

Santa can come and still teach your child that Jesus is the reason for the season. I am a Christian, raised in a Christian home and always knew what Christmas was about. Santa came to bring gifts in celebration of his birth. I raised my child the same way. I shall never understand why people think a child can’t have some fun in celebration of HIS birth.

I think it's also possible for a child to have fun without santa too :) I definitely didn't want to exclude santa for many years because I love the traditions I grew up with, but over time I realized that I want to do something different with my family. The holidays can still be very special and fun without the notion of santa, I have talked to many christian's who grew up knowing santa wasn't real and they weren't mad their parents did it that way. At the end of the day I am following my convictions for my family 🙂

So I fear that woman does not have that kind of power. Only Christ has the power to deliver us from evil. Maybe I’m misunderstanding but when you said they were listening to the spirits it sounds almost like another sneaky form of witchcraft

Agreed. She is being misled by these people and i expressed in a comment a few minutes ago that unbiblical “problems” lead to unbiblical solutions like generational curses which are not found in scripture and of course this “delieverance” she supposedly had. Praying she finds a church where she is being biblically shepherded by the elders and pastors.

Yes. I’m confused cause she said she doesn’t believe saved people can get possessed, but then talks about gets delivered from spirits.

Mark 16:17,18: And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues. They will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well😮

Hi! Actually all Christians are called to deliverance, we can read it in the New Testament. I used to share that mindset you currently have but I invite you to pray about it & ask the Lord to reveal truth to you, He’ll let you know if you’re right & none of this is Godly or if you’re wrong & there’s another part of Christianity you are yet to know & walk into. I say all of this with the love of Christ, blessings!
