I knew it! The wizard is not totally right. I mean come on if a car calls for 5w30 and you live in hot climate then you should use 5w40. Even the owners manual says that, on pretty much every car! The w number should not be changed or if in very cold climate can be changed from 5w/10w to 0w but the next number should be changed accordingly too preferably not changed to lower a number than specified for the non owners manual reading and only oil cap reading stupid owner/mechanic! The same for the drunk Scotty Kilmer! Hard language sorry simple principle. You drive hard, use 5w40 instead of 5w30. Your car is made to go fast, use 5w40 instead of 5w30.

I am one of the few people my age I know that experienced a DeLorean before Back to the Future. All came down to happenstance. Mom bought a 1984 Volvo sedan new. I was 5 when we went to the dealer to get the car and none other than a new or newish (might have been new, or lightly used) DeLorean was front and center in the showroom. I remember being fascinated with the car, they let me sit in it and play with the doors. I remember being disappointed that the horn was on the side stalk. We drove that Volvo across the US to Doug DeMuro territory in 85 and it was there that I saw Back to the Future. I can safely say that even without the film, the car left an impression on me, though the film immortalized it for sure.

if it's bosch k jetronic then cold start issues start with cold start injector, it operates on on it's own loop by a thermo-time switch, the switch is located somewhere in head or coolant line, if the coolant is warm or the switch is broken it doesn't send current to the cold start injector, usually it's the switch that brakes than the injector.

In part one Doc says the delorean is electrical and the time circuits are nuclear. Then Marty rips a fuel line in the cave. Making the plot of the 3rd movie not make any sense but a detail they could have left out was having to convert the time machine back to gas powered after it sat for years in the mine. I tend to overlook plot discrepancies like this because obviously the movies are more about fun then an attempt at accuracy.

Back in 1982 I was in a band that got signed to a record label. One time we were going to meet the label's owner for lunch - he had brought his brand-new Delorean, which had a stereo system (with an EQ, etc) that was built into the dashboard such that you had to press a switch that was hidden, and then that part of the dash would life up, flip over, and then settle itself back down - exposing the controls! When it was tucked away though you would have never ever known it was there. It was completely hidden; and this thing was huge too! It was pretty cool... I also had a chance to sit behind the wheel and start the car - they wouldn't let me take it for a test drive though (or anyone else in the group) because we were all high and drunk. Go figure!

Does the WEEEZARD ever guarantee any of his work? It seems 80% of his "repairs" seem fail rather immediately - and Hoovie continues to throw good money after bad due to Wizard's lack of results.

you talk so much garbage, i guess you make music in a metro station. if you bring a totally broken car to a mechanic and pay him to fix A, you cant blame him for B and C failing later.

That's because Hoovie rather bandaid the cars and only fix the worst things wrong... That's on him not the wizard.. and as a mechanic you don't touch ANYTHING that's not getting replaced or in the way of what your replacing ...Your one of those clueless people that goes to a stealership or blames your mechanic for your 20-30 yr old used POS for having issues.. you want no issues buy brand new with warranty..

@@BatLB You seem like a REALLY good dude - did you see the side mirrors? That was a direct wizard failed repair, along with the fuel pump and other things. Oh well, I hope you'll put a dollar in my violin case next time you come down to the station platform....

@@metromusic5725 he tried to glue them on and it was a good idea. as you heard from the expert, its a common problem only new parts could solve. I had my mirrors on my old hyundai also glued and they fell off after a while. if a glued mirror puts you off, good luck finding your mechanic.

@@BatLB He doesn't sound like a knowledgeable, experienced mechanic making the right decisions then. What about the fuel pump and other under the hood issues he mentioned that didn't work? Thats a bit more serious which you conveniently glossed over. Plus I would never be caught dead in an old Hyundai.
