I may not have uploaded a video for six years, but I promise it’s not because I’m lazy! Turns out you’ve probably seen my work, just maybe didn’t know it was me...
Nearly all of these shots were created by me working solo from home, with the help of the occasional kitbashed 3D model. Programs I used include After Effects, Maya, and Photoshop - with my most common AE plug-ins being Particular, Element 3D, and Optical Flares.
Enjoy!

I don't know how much freedom you had with the specifics of the effect and how much was notes and direction or whathaveyou, but I absolutely adore the interpretation of the regeneration effect this era: the way it almost seems to crack under the skin, seems to burn and pit the subcutaneous veins and arteries both before and during the eruption, the reintroduction of more colours beyond the yellows and oranges and golds, the regeneration effects were glorious this era and they gave the process the air of combined ethereal beauty and visceral unease that it's always deserved, always been framed as being a painful yet beautiful process and the subtle extra touches made this era for the subcutaneous effects really did that justice.

This is insane, seeing you go from doing fan videos to the title sequence to almost the last shot of the show. Amazing.

The fact you did so much of this, solo, from home is amazing. I hope you're staying with the show into the second RTD era.

When I was a teenager I was subscribed to your channel and watching endlessly your fanmade openings and everything, thinking how amazing it would be if Doctor Who could benefit VFXs like that ; and I just discovered that you were behind all of that visual magic we had in the Chibnall era. I often thought during this period of time that if it were not for the visual quality the show had I would have stopped watching. Thank you so much for all the awe you provided to me for a decade.

I noticed a real increase in quality in the visual effects during S12/S13, no doubt you can take a lot of the credit for that!

Like so many others have said, to see just how far you've come; from the brilliant little 50th anniversary and Capaldi 'Rain' trailers to literally working on the biggest effect shots in ACTUAL DOCTOR WHO is honestly incredible. I'm sure many others would agree, and I'm not just saying this either, the effects you've done are the best in the shows history; in particular, Whittaker's final shots make up what is possibly my favourite ever regeneration scene. I hope you've been paid more than a pretty penny and you go on to achieve everything you honestly deserve in life!
