Let me just start with, thank you so much for your support this year because it wasn't really the best year for our little family.
Choco had a mass removal surgery earlier this year and the mass turned out to be cancerous. He was diagnosed with grade 1 soft tissue sarcoma.
His doctor successfully removed the entire mass but unfortunately there were cancer cells around the edges of the removed mass which was a sign of spreading.
We were very lucky to catch this at an earlier stage and brought him in for radiation treatments.
He's currently in remission but there's no guarantee that it won't come back.
We are just gonna have to hope for the best for this little guy.

I lost my childhood dog on the 22nd of December this year to cancer (found out only 2 weeks prior to his sleeping date) sending lots of love and hugs for your little Sir

Be strong for your dog. Lusee there is nothing wrong with loving your dog with all your heart, it reflects your love back to GOD and HE will always take care of your baby. 👍🙏🏼😎✌️

Tell your dog I said hi. You’re 100% right about the 3 worst things: they’ll hide it from you as hard as they can, they can’t tell you even if they really wanted to, and they depend so faithfully on us to take care of them. Best of luck.

My pet had intestinal cancer at 4 years old, initially it began to block her digestive system and spread further; treatments were not helpful. It was a trying time for me back then, just like it's a trying time for you today. Keeping loving your pet with unconditional love. Show them your courage and undying gratitude of them because your dog is showing you theirs. Thanks for sharing your pain and sorrow, as others here have too lost a loved pet. Bless you.

All the best. And I hope Choco makes a full recovery. It's good to hear that he is in remission. I have a small terrier, who actually looks a bit like Choco. I had to take her to the vets a few months ago as she had a new lump. Thankfully that turned out to be a wart. So I understand how stressful things can be. But knowing what terriers are like - especially small ones - they're fighters and never give up.

Awww choco is like my wee girl so adorable ❤ it’s so hard knowing that ur fur baby is ill and u can’t do much apart from trust the vets. I nearly lost mine about 6 years ago but luckily the vet was amazing and she’s doing well I just remember getting the call saying that we nearly had to call u with other news but she’s pulled through. I’m so glad Choco is doing better now and that he’s in remission ❤❤ sending u all a happy new year 🥳

I’m so glad that it looks like his cancer is gone, losing a dog is such an awful experience. We just lost our furbaby today. She was a yellow lab named Sugar, she was 11 and a half, and she was such a sweet dog. I’m going to miss her a lot. It was all so sudden, we think she might’ve had cancer and we just didn’t know. I hope that everyone’s furbabies are healthy, safe, and happy.
