I just picked up my 1st sandals from doc martens the Voss 3 inch platform i absolutely love them sooo comfortable.

My Docs collection grew exponentially during lockdown. Now I'll be emerging from lockdown underneath a sea of 21 pairs of Docs. Oops. TO BE FAIR...I did buy most of them either on sale or secondhand, so my bank account isn't crying as much as it could be. Also you and I are opposites when it comes to choosing colours of Docs. When I see a chaotic patterned pair, it's like Christmas has come early. Hence why I just got a pair of Sinclairs with competing floral patterns rather than, y'know, a sensible colour.

chelseas look weird on me imo but i love them on other people!! my best friend is all about platform chelseas and they look great on her, so if you're into the style definitely go for it!

I love my Sinclair, just such a shame that I sized down with mine and it's constantly rubbing on my heel. Also, love that Lazy Oaf buckle boots, I'm bitter that I missed out on them.

oh that's a bummer :( but don't be! I sold my pair actually, they're the lowest quality docs i ever tried and started to crease immediately. I wore mine maybe 5x and they looked like i wore them for months straight

i got silicone heel protectors and that has helped me so much with that in my sinclairs!

Hi would you say for the platform shoes do they fit true to size or should I size down. For example I’m a size 6 women’s in Nike and I’m not sure if I should get a 5 or 6

s j hi! generally I size down in all my docs (i wear a 9.5/10 in most other shoes and a 9 in docs) except for narrower styles like the Pascal! docs as a rule run about half a size big.

I would recommend size 5! I wear a size 5, 5.5, 6 in women usually and I always get us size 5 women/ UK size 3 in dr. martens >>> usually they are still a bit big but you can get insoles/ wear thick socks I also have feet that's on the narrower side>> hope that is helpful!
