Man that sounds awesome! Ceriatone are absolutely fantastic amps, in every regard. They are affordable, top quality, and Nik's customer service is second to none. In 2012 I had Nik build a 1968 spec. 100w Super Lead for me. I sold my M*****ll Plexi almost immediately and I never looked back. My Ceriatone has been my main amp ever since and I still love it as much as I did from day one. Thanks Leon for a great demo, and thanks to Nik for building incredible amps that working musicians can actually afford.

That "Girth" control sounds absolutely fantastic, just pure saturation on tap.

My Marshall DSL100HR has exposed bias points on top of the chassi and it wasn't in any of the promotional material so it was an awesome surprise. You do still have to remove the back but it's still so much easier than removing the chassi to get to the board. Now I'd only have to do that if I blew a power tube an it took out the HT (high tension) fuse. I think I'll make a mod that will allow me to get to the bias points without taking the back off. It's nice to be able to verify your bias about once a month or two and the easier it is to access the test points the better. Especially in my case where my power goes from 122v down to as low as 104v at the wall. But I got a really cheap power regulator on Amazon that legit keeps my power between 116v and 126v. It's the only one that didn't cost $1000 lol. I think it was $40 and works perfectly. Mine is for 120v but they also make them in 110v 240v etc. so if you live outside the US that's still an option. If anyone has this problem also just let me know and I'll ad a link to the regulator. I looked for a long time to find a regulator that would work. The more expensive ones don't kick on until the power surges much higher or lower like 105v so that's not helpful. The one I use has taps on the transformer at 116v that boosts to 126v and a tap at abput 127v that bucks to 117v. So for example if your at 116v or below at the wall it adds 10v and if your too high it reduces by 10v. My power tubes kept going bad cause the bias was jumping all over the place due to inconsistent wall voltage but ever since I got the regulator my amp has sounded so much better and more consistent and I haven't lost any more power tubes. If you ever go to bias your amp and it won't bias high or low enough it's likely your wall voltage is off. Everyone will tell you to replace a resistor in your amp but it's much more likely the resistor is fine and it's your wall voltage that needs to be fixed. Especially if your amp is new or if your using the recommended tube type, then it's even more likely that the resistor value isn't the problem. People keep giving the advice to change the resistor but that should only apply if your using a different tube type then the amp was designed for. In most cases it's likely just poor wall voltage. And if your power tubes are going bad check your wall voltage and bias throughout the day and night. If you set your bias at 70% plate dissipation when your wall voltage is low then later on your wall voltage increases back to normal or above then your bias will spike also which will put extra stress on your tubes. Anyways that's information that is rarely discussed but I found to be very important. Hopefully it helps someone.

From what I gathered, it actually is derived from the Metro/Friedman-run iteration of the Cameron Atomica (so, not entirely a "proper" Cameron), which itself was derived from one of Jose Arredondo's mods on a Marshall...so 3rd generation mod I guess ? Anyhow, as Todd Stricklin or Alex King on the Facebook GN group, they're both pretty knowledgeable about Camerons ;) Also, great video, as always, Leon !

WOW!.. ... i see a pair of orange aussie scissors during unpacking - my wife has those in her sewing chest she absolutely swears by - sharp as katana and virtually unkillable. The amp sounds great. Love the minimalistic knob design with SO many sound options - that’s definitely the way to go! Looking forward to in-depth review. PS: crunchy peanut butter all the way man! No sugar/salt one especially. I was never Aussie enough to dive into Vegimite btw;))
