I’m not saying it’s the brides’ fault but they won’t stop so the brides just need to pick a “budget” to tell the producers and staff that’s under their real budget so when they have an “over budget” dress, it’s not too expensive.

Probably because they kept saying no to the dresses in their budget. So they had to bring out the more expensive dresses that fit their wants rather than just turning the bride away.

i feel bad for Katie. Instead of being honest with herself she keeps saying "i have to take a step back and reevaluate what dress i want. i just dont know what i want", nah, the real problem is that she obviously doesn't feel like getting married or she's simply just questioning it all, but now that she's said yes and everyone knows and on top of that she's probably scared to tell her fiancee due to fear of losing him or the security. Either way, this seems to go far deeper than just the dress.

I thought so too but at the same time weddings can bring so much stress, plus you can tell she doesn't feel pretty enough which plus that stress just goes to a "why does he love me and will it work" rather than i don't wanna marry him. Like every time I get my period I'm one day away from breaking up with my bf because hormones make me too insane and I cant control it even when I know I'm being crazy, so I can relate to wanting something or someone but due to stress you just want to bail.

You are so right, but perhaps there is more to the story such as a pregnancy which makes the dress not fit (!)??? In the early stages of course and that is why there is to be a wedding but perhaps she is unsure of marrying the father of her child as he is not the dream prince she had hoped for? So many scenarios.

I don't think a pregnancy is a possible scenario :/ she would have to say that to see how the dress would look like with a belly, they keep different belly sizes so you know how the dress would look mid prego.

It doesn't matter. I just had a few people over at my parent's house. If it really bothers you then you can renew your vows, but it's best not to compare to others. People are taking it to insane levels, spending far too much and then not having much money to actually live off, causing more stress for a new couple

In the middle of my dress being altered (taken in) they had me do a fitting.. it was a mermaid style and it was SO TIGHT i couldn't breathe fully. Omg i was in a panic!! But they just hadn't cut the excess fabric out yet from taking it in. Thankfully it fit perfectly in the end!

Laura S. I certainly wouldn't want to wear the dress from my 1st marriage or any previous marriage, if I were to remarry. What a terrible reminder that would be. I'm not superstitious at all but wearing a wedding dress from a previous failed marriage, for your next wedding, just sounds like an overall bad idea. This might seem like a sham to you but a lot of woman value this special day.
