About a year and a half clean rn. Just moved into an apartment with my girl the other day. Still on suboxone bit so close to getting off. I'm at .5 mgs a day rn. Things really do get better🫠

Nothing can compare to the rush of an opiate high and I would say the best time someone could have with opiates is when you've taken enough to have a bit of a tolerance so you don't get that disgusting sick feeling from taking too much but you also haven't taken enough consistently to be physically dependent on them to the point where your brain can barley squeeze out a few drips of dopamine no matter how much you take. you're 100 percent right when you say how nice the high is but it literally erodes away everything that was once important to you to the point where you don't care to do anything unless you have a good supply of opiates and aren't worried about running out.. but even then you really aren't trying to do anything productive. At the start they make you feel super motivated and have you believing you can just stay at that small dose forever but that quickly goes out the window when you realize that going without that feeling when you're used to it sucks ass. Opiates make you believe your own bullshit and no one can tell you any different until the good feeling runs out. If you're ever trying to find out if someone is abusing them and they wont admit it just sit them down and accuse them of being addicted to pills, I guarantee you if they are the will look at you like they want to spit in your face and tell you that you are fucking nuts lmao. dead giveaway! You can get off of them and life does get better. suboxone is a great tool if used properly and after a few days of adjustment it will start giving you your life back. Don't be ashamed to ask for help because I guarantee you that you're not fooling anyone after a certain point and your loved ones just want the person you used to be back. Remember when you were a kid and you would go outside on a summer day as the sun was going down and just take in that deep breath of the beautiful fresh air and it just felt amazing? Its not too late to get that back we just have to separate real happiness from this fake synthetic happiness we think we want, waking up everyday not being in mild to moderate withdrawal and accomplishing tasks without having to worry about how the hell you're going to feed this self destructive habit is such a blessing. Well said, I started really young and have been on and off opioids since 15 but only heavy or hard shit since 17. The only things that have saved me over the years are my fear of needles and my ability to kick dope after 2-3 months straight. I just have a hard time staying off and so I’ve gone to the edge of when shit really gets bad something like 5-10 times. As I’ve worked on myself and my underlying issues it’s gotten easier but it’s made my life way way more complicated. It’s definetly the drug I’ve had the hardest time quitting by far. It fucks people up because the problem isn’t picking up that bag, the problem is when you need a bag to get out of bed in the morning and it creeps up on you if you’re new or haven’t used in a long time. To make things worse it actually did help me when I’d start using cause It would calm me down and stop me from drinking but the honeymoon phase doesn’t last much longer than it takes to get hooked

Stay strong my dude. Whatever life throws your way, heroin is not a way out. 6 months off that shit is a whole accomplishment.

That’s exactly how I felt, it wasn’t like I broke out of the addiction. It was more so I didn’t have the desire to like I did before which made it super easy to detach from the addictions.

I don’t even smoke weed everyday anymore and it’s almost like my senses are heightened in all aspects to where when I eat or drink something un healthy, my body reacts more which makes it easier to make healthy life transformations. I always have a smile on my face now and I now don’t take things too seriously anymore because I used to and now I don’t anymore.

@@MargasMovies They they are good, if you have metabolism for it. At 4 pills, which is 1 plat you get molly effects and music sounds good. At 10 pills you dissociate if you close your eyes. I never tried last 2 plats, because first and second levels were always most fun for me. I gave my friend my time a huge dosage for the first time and he said he only felt tired 😂😂. Also, tolerance gets worse and worse, if you abuse it will be expensive and your memory will get worse and worse. That's my experience with it. Now I'm only edibles, but sure they are fun.

In today's world, you can't trust buying anything off people. The reagent test can be expensive but so is hospital bill and a funeral. @@ems8373 The tapering sucks but it's better to do it faster rather than shorter as long as you're being careful, honestly you're right nothing is like benzos, for me I've had to use of all the different cannabinoids, very heavy with THC CBD and CBN, and therapy I've been going for almost 3 years with about a 8-month period in between while I took a break honestly the therapy helped You got to learn how to deal with shit without benzos which is really hard I've got severe PTSD from doing 56 months in the joint on a high yard, and street shit that sent me there, Go to a medical assisted treatment they usually deal with opiates and large amount of the time can deal with the benzos and getting u off.
