The edition 30 badge goes on the driver's side of the bootlid, the badge missing from the grill is a standard GTI badge. The only other badge is the number plaque should be on the inside of the drivers door

Calvin the xenons were an option on all MK5 golfs, they came standard only on the R32 Edition 30 Never had an edition 30 badge on the grille only a Gti one 👍🏻

Yo Calvin the badge on the front grille isn’t a factory badge so what people do is just use the badge that goes on the bootlid which is about £30 off eBay and they glue it underneath the gti badge on the front grille. So I recommend just buying the bootlid badge and gluing it on under the gti badge

Hey Calvin, if you're not going to get a replacement plastic engine cover for it, you can remove the oil filler neck so that the cap flush fits the rocker cover - plenty of vids on KZfaq of how to do this 👍🏻

Just bought a Edition 30 out BCA last week..Dog of a car, Needs a Full respray, Timing chain, DSG service experience..Will be a minter soon.

Those wind-deflectors look nice, but in reality ADD noise and allow moisture into your car .so you open your car in the morning and have condensation on the inside of the windows.

Ebay did used to sell the odd ED:30 front badges..I've seen a few in the past....Best bet is contact a few scrappers nationwide to see if you can either have one delivered from a written-off car or pop down and unscrew it yourself..Its worth a try mate....As for "Wind Deflectors"..mint on a 3 door..they look so good..subtle but naughty..On a 5 door however..no..no..No wind deflectors on a 5 door. They only suit, IMO..3 door cars..especially golfs....

Calv, mine only has the badge on the back and a plate on the inside of the door. Only got the GTI badge on the front. Should be correct as I still got the showroom pics.

how did you get the car through MOT with the xenon headligts as you need washer jets installed to clean them and they have to work..... . I had this problem on my A4 when i put the S4 headlights in. You must a had boy who could swing it for you lad lol. 50 quid on back bumper when she went in 😉
