For my Birthday this year, I made a trip to Boscastle to see the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic. It has since become one of my favourite magickal places in the UK and if you're in the area, I would recommend you make a visit for yourself.
I'm not affiliated with the museum in any way, but I did want to share my experiences on this visit. There is far more to the museum than I have shown in this video, so if you go yourself you will definitely be amazed by how many wonderous magickal things there are inside.

What a great video, my wife and myself would love to visit. We aren't Pagan or ''Witchy people', but we do love British history and folklore, of which witches and witchcraft is a part of. My favourite book about the subject is called 'Witch, Wicce, Mother Goose' by Robert W. Thurston, I couldn't put it down when I started reading it, and it's the only other book (The Lord Of The Rings being the other) that I have re-read several times. I can highly recommend it!!

Happy Birthday! I'm so happy you posted so much footage. I first heard about the museum from a school teacher i had in the 6th grade in Texas back in the 90's. I was talking to her about being a witch and she told me about how she had visited the museum and she said i would probably love it. I've always had it in the back of my mind as a place id like to visit, but i am unable to travel, so this video is a bit of a small dream come true. I appreciate it more than you know! Thank you!

I work with the Horned One and was startled to see that the statue of him in that museum is precisely how he has appeared to me in my meditations 😮I might've caught a glimpse of it in the internet and gotten it into my subconscious that way, but who knows.. I'm really impressed by this exhibition!! I wish I could visit someday myself!

I was most interested to listen to your experience of the visit to the museum. When I was twelve, I am now 70, we had a family holiday at Cornwall. We visited that museum, I was very interested and excited to see the exhibits but gradually I became uneasy until I just had to go outside. It wasn't laid out as creatively as it is now and there were probably less exhibits. There wasn't a shop that I can remember. The macabre feeling lingered with me for days after the visit. Even now, I can recall that stark feeling. All of the items in the museum have been used for magic and I would say are still charged for their magical purposes to this day. They emit vibrations and therefore the museum is not an ordinary museum.

If your instincts tell you to leave you should listen to them & go. They might be protecting you from something you shouldn't be exposed too. I've investigated things before but something just tells me I personally should be doing such things. I suspect my aunt & mom attracted something's attention in the past. So I just don't do anything & just enjoy the virtual visit here. It's all fascinating. I'd love to go here & spend the day just looking at the exhibits.

I saw a video about the museum a few years ago and loved that little mirror. About a month after, my son's dad who sometimes works at a scrapyard, came home with one saying I found this and thought you'd like it. I had never mentioned it to him. Mad😂lovely video. Subbed immediately ❤

Oof, I definitely have experience with following a ritual from a book, and not getting results. It was a lovely ritual, but very ceremonial, which I usually don't jive with. It also didn't help that I held it in a forest after dark, on my own, and I was scared shitless 😂 so I was just reading the lines, instead of putting intention into it. I did learn a lot from the experience, though (mainly preparation and personalisation 😅).

Luv this museum, I live a few miles away and always pop in if I'm heading Boscastle. Lovely collection of interesting items and information. We were Lucky enough to find an item in our cob walls when cutting out a new doorway. Will leave it in my will for my kids to keep, it or give to the museum. Great to support places like this, so few and far between, a lifetime's work in that place.

We stayed in Boscastle for a week a few years ago. Main reason was that I wanted to visit the museum. I absolutely love it down there. My husband and daughter had a great time with our dogs in the river and walks while I was in the museum. You actually can take dogs in there but it was more fun for all of us the way we did it. We also visited the next village Tintagel which is also magical and is where king Arthur was born. So its very pagan (his mum was the sister of the lady of avalon) such a great trip and we popped to Glastonbury for a day on the way home, my favourite place in England so definitely one of my favourite holidays.

I feel the oversentimentality and keeping pretty much everything thing. It's cool to see I'm not alone. The concept of understanding not only what to do but why you are doing it is so important for pretty much everything you can learn in life. It's the difference between a surface level and a deeper understanding. This happens in schools too much. There are no shortcuts to education. Also, I always really enjoy when KZfaqrs show bloopers. I know it had to be frustrating for you to deal with all those technical difficulties, though. At least it made amusing content.

Thanks for the updated tour. I last went to the museum probably back in 2002, before the big Boscastle Flood which threatened to wash away the museum and unfortunately caused much devastation to the harbour area. So lovely to see the museum restored. I hope to revisit again in the near future as I now live across the other side of the country. I’ve also now purchased the Village Witch book and a few other things from their online shop. I highly recommend a look but maybe lock up your wallet first. Happy Birthday! Loved this video! I'm in the States and I hope to be able to explore Southwest England including Glastonbury, Cornwall & Wales. I have always felt a spiritual pull to those places. Its also where my ancestors are from. I would love to visit the museum.... Thank you for sharing! Also...I just ordered Cassandra Latham-Jones' book. Looking forward to reading it. Thank you for featuring it on your channel!
