A spiritual journey to one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in India.
The host of #MyEpicAdventure, Rosh, discovers he may have had an alternate purpose for being in the mountains: The Rizong Monastery in the Indus valley. Established in 1831, it is one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in the country. Meeting with the monks and their pupils, Rosh finds himself asking deeper questions about the meaning of life, and how to be happy.

Niloy Funny how you don't use the word "Bengali Muslims" lol. Islam is the most intolerant religion in the world, it produces majority of intolerant and violent people, a fact which cannot be denied. If Buddhism is having problems with Islam, whether in Thailand, Sri Lanka or Myanmar, I can't blame them.

Niloy Good teachings but evil people then the people is wrong Bad teachings with good people then the good people will become evil How to spot bad teachings? Did it includes genocide, rape, slavery, pedophile n any other criminal activities n said it's ok (cause they have a diff view) so F them? If yes then it's the evil teaching, its simple at that

bleed blue you are right, but evil is always more easy to follow, so the world is following the religions of evil which is majority in the western and Arabian countries, they will never understand ancient hindu or bhuddhist philosophy and they will call it senseless yet they believe in a book which spreads hate.

This is one of the most amazing monastery where monks strictly follow Vinaya The disciplines followed by monastic orders during the life time of the Buddha. No liquor, no non-vegetarian stuff, not even garlic or onion from within one km area around the monastery. They eat ones in a day through common kitchen. So serene. So pious. So spiritual. No worldly possession by monks.

It is really kind of these monks to offer something positive in this cruel world. Something so simple, yet so powerful. It is the reason why existence exists, why there is light. The thing they offer to the world, is love. I am so proud of being Buddhist, so that one day I can offer love to the world too.

John Allardyce the monks were speaking Ladakhi, and this monastery is Rizdong in the Western Ladakh , 70 km from Leh.
