Im in 3B civil engineering in UWaterloo as well and honestly, i just wanna kms everyday during a study term. Different from your times, UWaterloo gives you a fucked up amount of work throughout the term now, distributing the weightings of evaluations pretty much evenly for the four months. While it's good that theres no stress for finals, you just get bombarded with assignments and quizzes that are worth around ~20% every week....HELP.

@@TamerShaheen you study for 2years in The Preparatory Classes you study almost everything from physics maths engineering science to philosophy... these 2 years are the hardest sh*t ever btw I had every mental illness possible at the time haha... then you have a contest called Common National Competition you have to be at the top to get a good engineering school in morocco or you can have international competitions (international i mean French or Canadian) if you get the school you want and the branch you desire, you study 3years (to 4years depends if you want a double graduation) in engineering school then you become an engineer in what ever the branch you pick earlier.

@@TamerShaheen and yeah actually engineering can be done in 3 layers .. lower class engineering . Middleclass ... Higher class.. you have mentioned the third one in the video, the one with brilliant internship ,programmes etc and it worth every penny ... I went the first one that have no good internship , no programmes , only aim is to learn subjects that the teachers themselves don't know why we learn these stuffs...and after the course the companies rejected the job application with the reason of job experience and skills... And that's all a 4 year indian engineering grad can make except IIT grads.

I can assure you that engineers are also the hardest working people even after graduation. Our jobs are harder than most other grads. Also, my lecture experience, albeit 30 years ago, was exactly the same...write down as much as possible then try to understand it later.

I know engineering can be stressful, but your life is more important than the degree. If ur feeling immense pressure, consider talking to ur professor or ur peers/friends as they can relate most to u. If there’s still a lot of pressure on u, u can consider taking some time off from engineering to reset.
