It's the water girl. When i lived in Germany my hair fell out so much and it was so stiff und fuzzy. My skin was irritated and it was itchy. I even changed my hair care products but nothing helped. In Germany the water is very harsh and has a lot of calc. But when i moved to Asia my hair was reborn. I did not even change the products that i used to use but my hair stopped falling out and it was so soft and shiny, silky. I was shocked. So maybe thats why Asians have thicker, longer and healthier hair i thought to myself. Just saying that water makes a very big difference.

oils are but try them as a sealant, they don't moisturize themselves but they seal moisture in, so when applying whatever preferred leave-in conditoner or deep conditoner in your hair is when you should then add coconut on top and let sit or rinse out, you'll see such a difference

My hair gets a lot of build up on it so I shampoo the ends often because I find my hair feels healthier after. I also recommend using the Garnier Fructose 1 minute hair mask (the papaya one) because it made my hair INCREDIBLY soft, and I have naturally dry hair.

I can relate to your hair struggles 100% (I even have the same "golden blond" color). A while back ago it was so bad, that I even got emotional and cried, because NOTHING WORKED!! (and still doesn't by the way..) I used to color and style my hair and I thought that was the reason behind the frizz, then completely stoped everything that could do harm and grew out all natural hair (took good care of course) and turned out that they are just frizzy. They are not damaged, just difficult. Very, very difficult... I really like TIGI Bed Head rehab for hair (red one) shampoo & conditioner, if you are open to try even more hair products, then I recomend it ;)

If you ever need some new hair care video ideas you should look into the "capillary schedule" it's an interesting way to take care of your hair. In the simplest terms it's a schedule for what type of products you should use each wash day depending on your hair type and hair needs, like one week you use nourishing products, another week you use hydrating and once a month you would use strengthening.

I just used silicone conditioner for the first time in a while and it worked amazingly with my argan oil! I'm so happy usually my hair is shiny at the roots but the rest is dry and frizzy looking if I don't use a ton of gel after showering (I have sort of wavy hair). The silicone with argan oil kept my hair from being frizzy and made it shiny and flat instead!

My hair texture is 2B I’m pretty sure so it’s similar but slightly wavier than yours, and I’ve also been avoiding heat because that’s what lead to me getting at least 6 inches cut off. One heartless style I like wearing to bed is a faux fishtail because it’s quick, and will keep my hair tamed with it slightly curled once I take out the ponytail. I’m happy to see that in your videos you show that certain hair methods can work differently for everyone.

There's a permanent dye called Elumen (they also make a clear gloss which doesn't add colour) which is acidic and doesn't damage the hair, it repairs it and eliminates frizz. Maybe it's something you could try out?

I was gonna comment this on your hair story video but I figured you probably wouldn't see it since it's not that recent... did you ever consider that your hairs frizzyness may be down to porosity? Hair with higher porosity means that the cuticles are more open which makes it really easy for them to absorb hydration... but means that hydration leaves your hair really quickly too. On the other hand low porosity makes the cuticles lie flat so it's hard for hydration to penetrate buuuut once it does its locked in. Depending on your routine it can be hard to figure your porosity out but there are diy tests you can do to check.

A good tip is to use a no poo mask or conditioner to break down the oil after a treatment... I used to use so much shampoo to try to get the oil out of my hair that the treatment wouldn't even make a difference because the shampoo would strip out the hair. Then I discovered that the ingredients in masks/conditioner are so much more suitable to dissolve the oil and make it so much easier to wash off. You can apply a generous layer of mask/conditioner to your hair before washing it and leave it for 15-20 minutes, and then use shampoo and etc. Or you can actually do a co wash before the shampoo. It helps so much! Love your videos ❤️

thank you for such an extensive video! All those different hairstyles... I wanna learn how to blow dry and braid my hair properly but my hand-eye coordination is terrible and I get so easily frustrated 😭 These days I use a hair cream that I found that contains mineral oil... Since mineral oil is so occlusive it prevents my ends from losing water so I have way less frizz and my hair feels really soft. Not perfect, but it's a good crutch until I get better at styling my hair....

Natural products isn't always better. I've recently started to incorporate silicones and quats in my haircare routine again. I don't want silicones in my shampoo tho. But in the conditioner and leave in conditioner it's fine.

My daughter & I have super similar hair texture to yours naturally, I bleach my roots once or twice a year. My daughter is 4. I don't want this to be some generic comment but I wanted to tell you what works for us, our hair is wavy so it's a mix of both straight & curly, we don't have thick hair, it's fine and it can be alot of fine hair and look full at times lol. We use fenugreek seed leave in that I make for us, it really helps with the texture & frizz, it's cheap & natural, easy to make, I use this 2-3x a week. I make a leave in conditioner using our regular conditioner mixed with water in spray bottle for other days, spray hair with it in the morning before leaving and scrunch a little. I do blow dry my bangs if I cannot get them right. Oh uhm I use serums on our hair that have really helped they are Fantasia IC hair polisher mist & daily hair treatment this really helps with frizz and softness. I wash once a week, I trained my hair to go that long after washing & conditioning well I put both Fantasia products on and this is crazy but I found this loreal heat protective primer, I put this just on the ends and it really helps with overall feel & look, I don't use heat after the primer, I'm not sure why it helps the ends of my hair.. Honestly girl our hair is EXACTLY like yours. I hope these could help you too. I've been on a hair journey since 2012 😅❤❤

My hair was of shoulder length a year ago and it was hell damage and frizzy but now its grown nearly till my hips . And I can say I haven't inherit it from my family because no one have hair like me . The thing worked for me which I did about a year was oiling my hair every single day and washing it once or twice a week. my hair is kinda on wavy side but it still has a great shine and thickness.

I don't use conditioner anymore...I use hair mask for 30 min before washing (try Hydration Elation it is the best nourishing mask ever) wash my hair with Aveenoo shampoo because it is ph regulated and also contains oats milk nu sulphates and I only use after wash the L'Oréal Lamellar water....and my hair looks so much better....the added silicone at the rinsing process means it's protected after wards....and I tried some leave in sprays but I pers didn't find any that don't weigh down the hair....what I do recommend is the Hydration elation mask and aveeno shampoos ...these are sulphates free and very gentle too...all the 3 products mentioned can be found in Boots actually

The kerastase duo did nothing for my hair personally because it is super long and needs a lot of nourishment and so I gave it to my mum who has short hair and it did perserve her hair colour. I don't know what brand of colour your stylist used, but if it isn't a semi-permanent dye it shouldn't fade that quickly. I reccomend that you visit a hair salon that uses Keune colour. Also Keune products are supreme compared to Kerastase and are def much cheaper. They are a dutch family brand that's been around for a long time. My hair stylist always does my highlights (various shades of blonde permanent colour, no bleach) with Keune tinta colour and it never fades...once it did when I spent the entire summer working at a beach but other than that..no. Hope this helps.

I too struggle with frizz ( tropical environment, bleached blonde) three things have stopped the frizz - keratin treatment twice a year, really cutting down on the bleach and going to softer darker baby lights and It’s A 10. That stuff is witchcraft. I keep waiting for the downside and my hair to fall out but so far no problems and it keeps my hair soft straight and clean. I don’t even have to wash as often. Mucho recommend.

we have pretty similar hair and i’ve been binging your videos and it’s so interesting! you put so much effort and it’s sad to hear all the hateful comments telling you to just let your hair be. hair is part of a lot of peoples identity and for some people, if you ignore it, it’s fine but for some it turns into a complete mess. let her do whatever she wants with her hair

if you want advice I'd look into how to properly dry and take care of your hair AFTER showering. I've noticed some bad habits you do that damage your hair. for example when you shampoo, only apply it to your sculp and massage it not the ends of your hair.

ill let you know one thing, i come from finland where the air is extremely dry. my hair never had frizzyness issues and it would never tangle either. I moved to the UK and my hair completely changed, it gets tangly all the time, even within a few hours and frizzy. I think its the combination of water change and the atmosphere, since the air is much more humid. It's just a thought, i know you wouldn't change countries, but your hair could have completely different story in another atmosphere, lke i did. xD

What works for you works for you. That’s all that matters. Personally, I’m a pretty low maintenance gal (im just lazy tbh) and the only products I maybe sometimes use once in a blue moon are silicone and yada yada free hairsprays and mouse for when I curl or straighten my hair. I have naturally thick curly hair so I regularly get it cut and thinned out and after every wash I just do a blow out and keep like that for a good 3-6 days :)
