Beautiful Hoya Coloration ,

Hoya Linearis likes more water than other Hoya-i water mine when the top inch dries out-and i mist daily during the summer when it’s outside-i back off watering a little in the winter so maybe when the top 2 inches are dry, but still mist daily! Also i find that it likes light to hit the soil area of the pot! Beautiful collection!

Lovely collection of Hoya and a very enjoyable video! I hope to pick up more Hoya in the future. I’m in Charlotte, NC and although we have many good nurseries and plant shops, the Hoyas you find are very limited. When you find them they are usually the same 4 or 5 varieties. I've had the best luck propagating my Hoya Linearis in perlite👌 sometimes I just put the perlite in a small glass jar and stick the cutting in that, and other times I've put the perlite in a small cup and then put the cup (with the cutting) in a bigger jar for more humidity!

Lovely collection! I had no interest in hoyas and then I picked up a little baby wayetii at a local nursery. Now I'm obsessively adding to my wishlist and keeping an eye out for good deals (latest: 4 inch pots of curtisii and variegated kentiana for ten bucks each!). Fingers crossed they do well for me!

My Hoya krohniana silver took 2 1/2 months to root and I was ready to throw it away or give it to a friend for them to try. It’s just put out new growth about a month ago and hasn’t stopped since 🥲🥲

Luckily Hoya Bella is very easy to find. I always see Hoya Bella cutting for sale on Etsy and a lot is decently priced :) awesome collection btw. I only have four Hoyas but they are really cool plants. Hindu rope is my fav. Idc if it’s basic 😊 I like the fish tail one too, but it might need more humidity from me to live happy

I have struggled with the exact same hoya. My lacunosa and burtoniae were on death's door a year ago but now they are my constant bloomers so hang in there. Linearis currently in water but so sad. Bella is finally mite free and growing even has peduncles. You may enjoy the retusa, brevialata or nummularioides if you like small, fuzzy or grass-like foliage.

Have you tried clove oil with water in a spray bottle, it numbs the insect to death, natural won't hurt plants. New subscriber.

Where do you buy your hoya online?

Hoya linearis is a thirsty Hoya, so it needs a lot more water than usual…. It doesn’t really like to dry out. My linearis is growing so fast, I have mine in soil and I water it so frequently. I heard hoya Bella likes to be rooted in water or spag and once it starts rooting then the leaves should firm up a bit. The burtonie seems like it’s in a huge pot, they like to be snug but it’s just an observation.
