My favorite eras are umpah umpah and russian roulette. Like the songs, the styling, the stages, and the albums just everything about them are amazing. My favorite albums are rookie and the reve festival day 1, also the red summer and the perfect red velvet. I love their songs omg hahaha

I completed my rv photocard collection recently. 😍 I collect Wendy and Yeri pcs from the korean albums~ I'd love to collect japanese and kihno things but..money haha so I just limit myself to their korean album photocards.

"The Perfect Red Velvet" is definitely my favorite Red velvet album. 😍 ❤️ Out of all of their albums, this one and "RBB" are the only ones that I own. I prefer their velvet concept albums but, unfortunately, all of their velvet releases have jewel case packaging ;/ (and the screeching sound of removing the slip case gives me goosebumps). Their red albums always have nice and unique packaging. Dear SM, it's 2019, so could you stop releasing jewel cases? 😭

You're right, the reve festival finale (psycho) is like bad boy era which is dark vampy concept. They're really my fav girl group now and I've decided to start collecting their albums even though I've known them since their debut. Ice cream cake will forever be my fav song of them among the many others. I agree totally that they went through kind of a slump here and there (one of these nights is not my fav of them too and i didn't like rbb or zimzalabim). Bad boy was kind of the song that pulled me back to them, though i did listen to peekaboo (that song's ok) then rbb and zimzalabim kind of make me distance myself from following them. Finally, umpah umpah came and I really like it. But now that psycho is out, it wins my heart more than umpah umpah 💖 Currently, i listen to psycho everyday

Have you ever bought an album that you didn’t like?

My favorite album is a tie between Reve Festival 1 and 2 tbh. Rookie a close third behind those two though for me. I just really like the songs and I also like that red velvet decided to branch out and do something different with both those albums. And while Rookie was different, it still was closer to red velvet's original sound like the other two. My bias is Seulgi in the group.

My favorite overall album release from RV is "The Red". I'm not a huge fan of most of their title tracks, as I much prefer their b-sides, but "Russian Roulette", "Automatic", "Red Flavor" and "Peek-A-Boo" are the exceptions. I hope this 'Reve Festival' 3 part release series puts them on the upswing again after a disappointing 2018. I also hope 2020 is an even better year for them.
