My best friend that just passed away had literally 1000 pair of shoes took up a whole bedroom every closet in his house and storage locker . And I use to tell him paying for a storage locker for your shoes is a little much and yo' s collection goes back to 98' he had binders filled wit a pictures of every pair and where he had them at , I miss yo to death ..rip Marcus Thomas ..think of you everyday homie and I will make sure your kids are forever straight and no one will forget you ..i know you watching and still got me !!💯💯💯🙏🙏

Same. With resale value being crazy, what’s the point in keeping pairs just sitting on your shelf just for clout to say, “I got em”. I sold more pairs than I bought this year, just to downsize my collection.

I am going through the exact same thing! I had around 120 pairs and realized I go for comfort than looks as I get older. My go tos tend to be the low cut, runnings etc and not so much the Retro Jordans. I just sold off about 20 pairs of shoes I had not worn in over 3 years. Granted I will just buy new but I kinda get where youre going with this lol

I feel you on the quality > quantity sneaker tip. Last year I decided to sell off a large percentage of my collection and use the credits to buy grails or pairs I always wanted. So I ended up selling 70+ pairs mainly on GOAT & SX, most new/DS but also probably 15-20 pairs that were used (some were BEAT). Added 10 pairs ranging from the Chunky Dunky to the Grateful Dead’s to the Para AM1 to the J Balvin AJ1s. Got the collection down to under 90 total pairs now and that’s a good thing for me and the empty closest space for the wife haha

I hear you there on keeping a more concise collection. I have around 110 pairs and I slowly have sold off low value shoes, not for reslae purposes, but just for separating what I love and what I like.

My question has always been where do you actually go for New Balance collaborations or special drops? I typically find out about New Balance special drops after the fact or right close to release date with no information as to where and how to purchase the shoe.

I just got my first pair of yeezys after about 4 years of trying. And they are so comfortable I’m so happy I finally have a pair. I bought the carbons for resell but it was only £215 so not too bad. I love the videos and have been following for a while and I look forward to the rest of the years drops and videos. Stay safe

I was hoping I'd still see some EQTs in the collection. I've been out of the sneaker game for a while as I need to save my money, buy I still love my pairs of EQTs. Yeezys have gone, Jordans have gone, collabs have gone, and a bunch of limited release sneakers of mine have also gone. The only sneakers I have never even thought of selling are my dang 93/17 Support EQTs since they're so comfortable and they look as good as they do

I'm a poor college student so just about every sneaker I buy has to be useful or at least worthy of keeping. Even though there are a few pairs that I barely wear (y-3 noci high grail) , I still keep them since I only have like less than 20 pairs of shoes. Before I got into shoes I would wear one pair everday until they'd fall apart. Having 13 or so pairs is good enough for me since I can have a rotation. Props for "slimming down" :D

When my salary increased, i finally decided to spend money in my favorite sneakers. I created a small collection of sneakers i was never able to buy in the past, including an off white collab. I have about 16 pairs and i only wear 2-3 lol... so even with a small collection, you still dont wear all your pairs. Very interesting. My advice is, be a minimalist... it sits well with your soul. Less stress.
