Good thing OP moved on and hope Karma hits Henry hard and the OP never seems him again. 3) OP's husband was having an emotional affair and was quickly moving towards a physical affair. Agree. She decided one accuser was enough for a judgment and didn’t even ask for the accused testimony or witnesses. That’s not a person you want to stay around. On getting back together: does he really want to parent the child of the person who ruined his life and have to see him every time the child wants to see her bio dad? Do you really want to coparent with the woman who threw him out and the guy who ruined his life?? Because that would be a lot of resentment to live in. Not healthy for him and not healthy for the child.

I noticed no one in the last story with the final comments brought up that, while he was calling and begging for couples counseling and to make things work... HE WAS STILL ON THE FAKE WORK TRIP WITH AP AND WAS STILL NOT PLANNING ON COMING BACK TILL THAT NEXT FRIDAY If you go back and listen, she said the work trip was a lie. He was just going to meet his ap to have an affair because they don't work together. So he's still with the ap... is planning on finishing his little mini cheat-vacay... while still saying, "let's work this out baby" Like that would have been my first question... "did he offer to take the first plane home immediately? Or is he staying with her till that next Friday anyway?"

Story 1, Alexis doesn't deserve anything. She tried to self harm? Who cares. They gave him no chance, refused to listen to him or give him any shot at explain. Alexis had no trust or faith in him and immediately believed someone else, someone they disliked mind you, over their own son without ever letting him say anything. "Hello, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions". No, op. Go NC with them and stay NC. They already showed you who they are. They will trust the word of any random person, even if they hate that person, before they will ever trust you.

Story 1 - lol wtf? At minimum, Op needs to get a restraining order for all of these people. They belong in the same bag of trail mix because they sound nutsy and ballsy to expect forgiveness after what they put op through. Here's the thing. I fully believe Alexis wanted out of this relationship with op and used the allegations to get out of it without being the bad guy. Why else would she string along two guys and get knocked up so fast after the break up with op. Now she realizes she put her gamble on the wrong horse and wants her ex back. Screw her. Doubly screw her for using self harm to get sympathetic support. Op is NOT the love of her life. She just wants a meal ticket. Story 2 - op dodged a nuke. Henry sounds like another psycho that shouldn't be allowed to have children with anybody. Prison sounded like inevitable. Story 3 - omg op needs to grow a freaking spine. Her husband doesn't respect their marriage at all. This is an emotional affair. I'm rolling my eyes at the fact he actually told his s/o he feels lonely around her. The only response would have been to say "okay. I can fix that because I refuse to be a third wheel in my relationship. You can have your friend. I'm going to find myself a "friend" too." This boat is sinking and op needs to prepare a life boat. By life boat, I mean op needs to file for divorce first. It's pretty obvious op can clearly get a better man if she really put her mind to it and he can't stand that. I don't believe for a moment he cut contact from the other woman.

Why is it in the stories the girl immediately gets together with the 'friend' who lied? It's so trashy. Then wanting the guy they ditched back after abandoning them with zero doubt... She didn't even look into it before dumping him and letting her father wail on the guy, after being together for years? No honey. No. You can't un-burn that bridge, especially not overnight. Also, trying to get back together after all that while his mom's holding the baby you had with the other guy... Completely insensitive and selfish. I hope OP is able to move on with his life and fully heal from that betrayal. Hopefully he'll find someone who can genuinely love and trust in him. He deserves much better.

1st story: this is what he needs to think about. Alexis tried to kill herself because Opie didn't want her but didn't think anything about the child that she made with his exbest friend. She was so desperate for a man didn't matter how she got one but didn't think twice about her child. And that's what you're confused about? There wouldn't be any misunderstandings when it came to that type of situation of you trying to harm yourself because a man didn't want to be with you or a woman knowing that you have a child that you have to take care of. And honestly this is a crappy story line that you posted up here to even ask for people to give you some advice when you know what advice they're going to give you that you need to move on with your life and you shouldn't have contacted these people. I don't understand what's so hard about that.

I love that everyone here cheers on when someone else exposes a cheater to the partner of the affair partner, causing a break up, but in this story everyones acting like the family is crazy for disowning him. They had the same level of evidence that all those other OPs give to their affair partners, but what, they aren't psychic.

Even though the family got those "evidence" that was made up. It will all be clear if they talk to OP first and demanded to see all his communications to verify. If OP is innocent he will gladly show there is nothing to hide. But since they do not think logically and proceeded to believe the worst in OP. These people jump to the conclusions without talking with OP first but physically assaulting OP when he went to the girlfriend's home. Even OP's parent do not like his friend but they believe him over OP. Communication is key and they failed in this. OP should definitely go NC with them and when his mother called him to say that his ex girlfriend tried to kill herself. OP response should be. "Do I looked like I gave a shit? If she wants to die, just jump off the building. You all are dead to me." Then proceed to block everyone.

Story 1: Obvious AI story. This same story has been going around a lot, this version just happens to be boyfriend and girlfriend rather than husband and wife.
