"Dingy, dark and dated" is what you called the before entryway design. Yet, I found the before and after were both beautiful. I really like the molding on the walls. it makes the appearance of the home more upscale and minimal in appearance. As always when we get a chance to see any part of your home it is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this wonderful project with some great ideas. And, hats off to your talented husband, Mike. Stay safe.

I love the height of your foyer. Confession: I speeded to the end to see the final results. I love love love! Excellent job. Now I can replay from the beginning while drinking a cool drink. WOW 🤩 I love the makeover. I can’t wait until we’re done moving on these military orders too. I miss doing projects like this in our home. We’re renting it out right now but as soon as this tour is over and we get back home, I’m ripping out the carpet in our bedroom for wood floors. This was so inspiring Nikki! I need a "Mike" in my life. The things I want to do in the apartment, as the list is long and I would have to do it myself. Decluttering, cleaning, reorganizing and I looked forward to do this due to the pandemic. This is motivation to do so and as much as I can within my power, just overwhelming. But how gorgeous it turned out Ms. Nikki, just absolutely GORGEOUS!!

Oh My!!! Nikki, You and your husband make a beautiful team!!! The work you did and the changes you made are FANTASTIC! Our home is the same layout and we have a library across from the dining room and just like you, It is where we have our morning coffee! And from that room or the dining room, we can sit and enjoy the view of our foyer too! From every room of the house, this is the vantage point and Yes, it makes us soooooo happy every time we see it! Our color theme is the same as yours, except our newel posts are painted black to match the handrail. And our next step is the molding on the walls and stair runner! Thank you so very much for this beautiful example of what our entry could be and for sharing your hard work and amazing style!!! May God richly bless you and your husband as you use your gifts and talents to give glory to HIM!

Nikki, I can not for the life of me think about you re-doing the inside of your home! You have a very beautiful home! I have been with you for many years since you had your office in the front. I love how you talk about your husband. It is so wonderful to see and hear couples work together and love each other. We are doing the same thing with our home, plus adding a whole new level. Magnificent!! I just love the updated look. Simple, clean and elegant. My heart always does a happy dance when I see trim work. Mike did a wonderful job with all the trim work. The stairs are amazing. I have been racking my brain on how to update our stairs. I was hoping you were going to put down a rug runner with the hardware when I saw your sneak peek on IG. So classy. So so so beautiful I'm loving everything. Loving all the molding. The stairs and the flooring is beautiful too sometimes it looks dark brown and sometimes it looks grayish brown.
