Way back in the day. Mr Mac's lake. You were just a little tike. Zeigler hotdogs was my preferred bait...nothing wiggly, squiggly, or gutsy for Mom. Dad loved fishing, but usually spent most of his time untangling lines and taking fish off the hook for sister and me. And truth be known, none of our fishing gear was carp worthy. But I do remember hooking a few and the thrill of the fight to get 'em out of the water. Gosh, that was a long time ago. Great family memories! Thanks for the walk down memory lane!

Agreed with the top water and catching fish on lighter tackle! I heard from a biologist that when carp get old they actually develop scoliosis and causes their spine to hump over like that. She could have been a very old carp and that’s why she looked like that and took that long to swim off. Awesome video as always! One of my favorite KZfaq anglers!

Just a small tip.. with the corn what you want to do is like what you did with the bread take a couple handfuls of corn and chum the water and within 10 min carp will be all over that corn. Then get you a small hook and load it up with as many kernels as you can.. the carp LOVE IT

Huge bowfisherman here took one at 44lbs with my bow last year it was like 42 43 inches! ALl measurements taken the next day ! I think if we weighed it right up which it broke out scale which maxed out at 55 it was a 60 lb fish! maybe 58~ Great catch love the content so far keep it up!

Hi love ut channel ig i can give advice on carp fishing u wanne use small octopus hooks with corn and using sents many types banana,tuti fruity,,ucilyptis oil,garlic,curry lots more that work and put on mielie bomb what we say on south aftica corn bomb cook vorn put it tru mincer it has to have bind when u ball it up then put it in a spring if u dont have that use flat sinker ball it on ur line will make feeding zone around ur bait,hope to see more carp fishing from u bro have a nice one

They're called grass carp, they're super prone to stress so you've really got to let them rest in a net before you get them out of the water.

Another great video! I finally got out fishing here on the Puget in Washington state. Caught a flounder but it threw the hook right at the pier. It was about 12”. We have to use barbless hooks here because of salmon so you end up losing a few fish. In my 30 years up here it was the first saltwater fish I caught that wasn’t a Cabezon or shark. This year I’ll finally be able to fish during salmon season.

Try instant grits and corn and istant rice and butternut flavoring carp love it

Smalls ya dong need trebles for carp. Use single barbless it wont destroy ther barbells. Oh. Try a full prawn or muscles. For carp season with some garlic powder over night iv had over 400 lbs in one session.

Maybe 15 bro lol..those specific carp get 6 foot long
