I used to think it's 95% too, but it's actually 85% people who are not bad. 15% of people belong to the dark triad group in the overall human population as per pshychological statistics, these are the real bad people and cause 95% of the problems in the world, which get magnified and covered by all news due to our inherent negativity bias and we tend to think most people are bad, which is not true. ...on the other hand 15-25% people belong to the real good empath category people(5% among them bring the real positive change in the world that we all benefit from throughout the ages), the 50-60% people in the middle are mostly good, but they can change their orientation depending on societal circumstances..Since our world is mostly rule based and put emphasis on good values, these people mostly remain good(at least in the public), for social and legal and moral pressure. The best proof of this is the country of Somalia and the region of Somaliland, both are basically same group of people, but due to societal lawlessness, most people in Somalia has given in to some form of illegal activities, whereas in Somaliland you will find one of the friendliest and safest group of people in the whole African continent.

Hi, I was in Delhi for 4 months and returned to the UK last week. My observations are as follows that it was hectic, noisy and polluted. I missed my car but I wouldn’t drive there. I took metro and Uber everywhere. I might buy a scooter next time for the local runs. I flew to Sri Lanka from Delhi and it was a fantastic trip. India is definitely happening, there is energy and lots of opportunities but as I’m semi retired, I’m not looking for any business or job. Now I’m back in the UK, I’m already missing the place. Yesterday We had sun and now back to grey and cloudy. If one has money, India is a great place to live, The positives are cost of living, weather, Food, social interactions, Family, Making friends easy in India. I’m still exploring the final place to settle down in India and plan to visit again in September. You both will be fine (which you seem to be) as long as one opens their heart to all the experiences. Ignore the negatives and focus on all the positives. India has a lots to offer. All the best.😊 Ps Indore has intrigued me I might visit your city next time 😊

When you have a cultural connect with any country, you will easily become part of the country! I would class India as the spiritual capital of the world and the last few minutes of your video stressed how important it is in your life, which is the true state of human living. Once you are in that state, you are staying there FORWVER, in a city or a forest.

My respect and admiration for both of you have gone up several notches after watching this video. I am watching this video after I watched you last time when you first came to India. You guys have evolved a lot..that I can say. Jash's critical yet honest feedback is what every true patriotic people of India think..that I can vouch. I want to add few points to that for more context, 1. The corruption has gone down significantly since internet and tech based governance became more widespread, it's now possible to do things(with little to big hassle) without giving in to corruption , which was not at all possible just few years ago, it's unfortunate that you had to go through the very bitter end of the hassle spectrum, because you were still not part of the system yet, and those officials(who are now greedier because their scope of corruption has gone down so much) just sensed that and tried to take advantage of it. You are right, entry to India for tourists or NRI for tour or business or citizenship is still very hard, it's easier than before, but still it's pretty hard and should become a lot easier, especially for people like you. I suggest, to clip that feedback part of yours and tweet it directly to the Indian EAM official handle and MR. Jaishankar himself. They do listen to the people. 2. A lot of chaos such as traffic that happens because of implementation of rules in India is a problem, that just can't be solved easily, because India is not a homogenious country, and people are present in all levels across all parameters, be it awareness, civility, economy, education etc. Whenever effort has been put out for hard implementation of such law, it's called out by some section as draconian, because it does actually limit or affect some section of people for some reason. For example, if a poor cycle guy or thela-wala is banned from moving on the road, that guy will have his job taken out of him. Or a footpath encroachers is ousted, something similar would happen. This is why in India, rules are not strictly implemented, and it's more of a suggestion and people are left to their own choice and as the country grows, so grows the overall awareness and things indeed get better. But, having said that, I do think a stricter implementation of traffic laws should be incorporated, beacuse after all, health and life and death are of the utmost importance above everything else.

sorry for late reply I read your message but wanted to take time to respond so I can properly address it. Definitely digitalisation helps not just with corruption but also with data collection, payments, less bureaucracy, so I agree. Many issues come also from lack of education, and the government not taking full responsibility to run the country. It is a very large country to run (properly) but so is US and they despite having issues, have a very well developed country with strong infrastructure. issues are everywhere but the drive should be from every individual to want to make the change. only collective efforts will work

Sorry to hear that India is definitely much different to the UK. But it’s just a matter of getting used to it and language should not be a barrier because most people do speak English. I initially saw your interview with Max Cherkov and that brought me here to your KZfaq channel. You made a seriously brave decision to come and settle in India with your family. Also, it is surprising that your husband despite being born and brought up (I presume?) in Britain, chose to move here. Trust me, it is not easy. I was born and raised in India but there was a period when I had moved to UK and it was not an easy decision to return home. Although I am familiar with India, there were a few things that took time to re-adjust and re-adapt. You came here barely knowing much about this place. So salute to you. Glad to know that you feel at home here. Best wishes to you and your family. Just subscribed to your channel.

Let's hope the positive things upsurge the negativeness soon.

That explanation for not permitting to drive was to point like my mother used to tell me when I was in my early 20s. She used to tell me that even when we are driving carefully, outsiders will not be the same.. But now slowly as the need came, she herself came and told to look for a bike and to order it... So time comes where they will understand and gradually everything will happen accordingly... We just have to wait for the right time...😂

love the blue background 💙 in India you have full freedom - if you are smart - you can have a queen life 😍 my opinion on the driving: if you don't start, you cannot learn ⛲ so cool, that you are learning the "non-rushing"-ways 🌼 how cute are the boys playing music ❤❤❤ awesome contribution from hubby - he is so right (same here) corruption etc. sucks - hope he can succeed in making India even better, then it is - so it can be compared with mature modern countries properly - so beautiful to hear about your spiritual development - that is what I am also experiencing when there - and also becoming more humble becoz of the Indian survival nature - I hope Anjeli can find her place sending hugs to her and much strength for the hard times

with regards to food and cooking... I am 26 years old, born in Mumbai, lived there for probably19-20 years, and I still cannot eat spicy food. I have met foreigners and white people who can eat more spicy food than me. But now I am trying to be more disciplined and put more effort into forcefully increase my spice tolerance. I also did some research about how it helps cope with hot weather better. So next time I am feeling hot instead of turning on the AC I am going to force myself to eat more spicy food. Yes but vegetarian food is much easier in India than abroad for sure. For education, of course it is your life, and I don't know what your priorities and values are. But I was very satisfied with international IB education, which I think is improving in India. Much less of memorisation and exams like traditional Indian education and more actually making students think about the material. With regards to government bureaucracy, if it makes you feel any better, it's not discrimination against NRI, it is equally challenging for us locals as well... Which I guess is a sad thing, but at least we are all in it together! I'm sure you already have a lot of contacts here, but my father has worked in the finance space for about 20+ years in India, and is now in Indian healthcare, so if you are looking for connections and business opportunities I can try and put you in touch!

Thank you so much. Happy Holi to you and your family 💐🙏😊 We got stopped by the police when going to the airport. we said that we had a flight to catch. policeman demanded 3000 rupees. He said that our car was registered to another person and the documents we gave him were fake. he also said Jash was drunk and we had to go to the police station with him. Jash said he had 500 rupees cash and the police said ok give me that and go. He had to pay the money otherwise we would have missed the flights and also unnecessary stress with the kids. Not all police are bad. we also have met helpful and kids police.

Kudos to your adaptation, Agnes! The drastic change in culture & civilization definitely causes some challenges in a whole new setting. As far as Mr. Jash has said- in the case of following driving rules, most people don't follow traffic rules here. In European countries, everyone follows traffic rules, and they are very careful in keeping their country clean. Whereas in India, people are less accountable for keeping their surroundings and city clean, and in following traffic rules. But you have selected a great place to live, which is far better than Delhi and Mumbai in terms of cleanliness. One thing for sure can be said about India, it is transforming rapidly and the future would be bright. I'm hoping, in the coming years ease of doing business will improve and corruption will go down with digitalization of most of the services. India's massive population, ethnic diversity, and lack of education are the few factors that make it difficult to address every challenge effectively. Unless people will not take the responsibility to follow their rules make themselves accountable for what they do. Things would remain difficult. But we as a part of society have to make people understand and encourage them to do the right things. And one more thing- If you have decided to live in India, you have to accept things, as they are and find a way to deal with them. If by living in India you expect the same conditions as there were in the UK, it's definitely going to cause frustration. I hope you guys will find a way to deal with it and things will go smooth for you.🙏🙏 Love and Regards: Sanjeev

Just visit Baranasi & other few ancient place in North side U will find thousands of foreign devotees who have made it their home. Fyi many PPL think ghee is fattening but research shows that pure100% saltless butter ghee (beware of cheap adulterated ghee claims of being pure but r mixed wid coconut oil u can see the white coconut oil on top layer & it will not smell like butter ghee) what is fattening Is the other sunflower type oils we add , ghee on its own esp. Desi ghee is tops for the body internal health , also put a little into the naval & massage it in , is also used to make kajar aka kola - turn a spoon upside down above a ghee filled clay lamp let the black carbon collect over night , next day mix in ghee a little @ a time & u get the world famous Indian eye liner which besides beautifying the face , cleans the eyes outa muck.

@@AgnesMann you know we indians say only those first few scratches are worrysome after them one drives more freely bcoz we now already have scratches few more won't matter now 😁 hehehe funny it is but true ... And there's a famous tag line of our cold drink brand i.e. "darr ke aage jiit hai" means "after fear there's victory" so do drive at that time to overcome that fear ... You know this is why two-wheelers are very popular, get that one bike(or scooter considering you) drive that at that time to understand the other riders difficulties, you'll start seeing differently and will have a whole new perspective. Use car only when more than 2 people need to go together somewhere.
