I'm 66 yrs. old and it does my heart good to see such a fantastic video. I graduated from a very small high school and up until my Senior year, 1970-1971, dancing was not allowed in school or pretty much anywhere within the city limits. The Juniors and Seniors decided it was a time for change and changes we made. We went before the school board and demanded that the anti-dancing policy be dropped or we would refuse to even hold a graduation ceremony. Of course, the board tried to tell us it was mandatory but we proved them wrong and we got our prom. It was nothing like they have today but it was a step in the right direction and it finally give the students a voice. Just a little history note - My Senior class still holds the record for the largest graduating class ever and there was just 36 Seniors. As a young adult,it remains one of the proudest moments of my life.

Ok so to everyone saying I copied Mike Song's choreography/stole it, i'm not. OBVIOUSLY it's a tribute of the evolution of dances throughout the decades and their dances. I copied MJ's choreography from Motown 25, so am I stealing it? No, i'm obviously paying respects and re-exposing the dances of past popular culture. Superman dat ho (or whatever it is) is Soulja Boy's choreography, but i'm not plagiarizing it am I? I did the Mike Song Wii piece to give a shout out to my fellow dancers in the crowd that night who knew the piece, it was one of the favorites at the time and it was nothing but respect to Mike. I've seen a few "Evolution of Dance" vids now and they all have me rolling on the floor. My hubby teaches ballroom dance and just recently I've started learning and partnering his male students, so I know how much time and dedication this takes to learn. Getting the transitions between different styles to match the music might be one of the hard parts, Being able to master so many different styles and pull them off with grace is the other. Superb and hats off!
