This is why I looked for a single detached house! I’ve lived in townhouses, condos and apartments and I tell you the stress is sharing walls with people! I absolutely hate hearing other peoples lives through the walls😫

You just never know. I live in a detached house 50 ft from the house next door where there was a couple who yell and fight with each on their front porch. Very stressful. Luckily they moved out after my second year of that.

@@curiouscat3384 I got tired of having neighbor's, and never knowing what I was going to have to deal with, when the houses around me were sold. To me, an attached house is my worst nightmare. That's why my forever home, that I purchased 5 years ago, is on partially wooded acreage, with no close neighbor's. It's wonderful!

Lol….our neighbours had an open house yesterday ..they didn’t bother to tell us …our dogs were going crazy all day when they are usually pretty quiet 🤐….after a while I started yelling at them to shut up , after a while I then started swearing at them to shut up ! I had just got my grandson to sleep for about the fourth time and they had constantly woken him up ………..they settled down after a few hours and I thought no more about it …then hubby comes home and says “ hey they had an open house next door , the agent is just packing up !” I cringed to myself , the people viewing must think “no way am I buying next to that noisy cow “..lol…! Neighbours should let others in the street know when having an open house , I would have locked the dogs inside for a few hours if they had bothered to let me know .

TIP: *Never* use green paint when staging. For those with an olive completion it makes us look sick. Imagine for a moment the house is shown to olive skin folks. As they move throughout the home they see their reflection in mirrors, windows and glass in framed art. What began as a joyful excursion turns to a sense of discomfort, the house feels all wrong but they don't know why. Sadly it is their reflection causing them to see how sick they look. Once outside the feeling begins to fade yet when asked to exit through the home they look instead for a gate to use. They can't explain the aversion to the home but are adamant that it isn't for them!

Did anyone else notice-while standing in the model house/master bedroom and telling them they need to "tone down all the brown furniture" I was looking at the brownish black headboard, brownish black bedside tables, and a huge heavily carved dark brown wooden bench across from the foot of the bed. Now, I'm laughing out-loud. Come on-any decent realtor should be constantly reminding their unimaginative clients to disregard the owner's furniture and look at the "bones" of the home.

I don't like the way the were ending these episodes with the shutting off of all the lights as they left.

Don’t know where this house is but what they’re selling it for would buy a mansion where I live in Michigan.

These days that house (in Toronto) is probably worth around $1.3 million.

@Angel Bulldog Actually, I think southern Ontario has gotten as ridiculous as California. We sold our 3 bedroom for $850k in January. Time to leave.

Just the front of their house and the hoarded up disgusting looking porch of the adjoining house would turn me away from looking at that house never mind buying it. 😖

The presenter is very beautiful, but I am starting to notice how insensitive she is with her words." Your house feels like a tomb". That wasn't necessary

I dislike the episodes that are missing the voiceovers. You end up with quick snapshot edits with no context or explanation.
