In fact, I looked back on our relationship as a miserable experience for me. I realized I only wanted to get back together with him because of how much I had invested in him.

My ex told me they weren’t mature enough for a relationship. And I said I would wait and they said they don’t want me to wait around because I can find other people that can fit with me better. I think my ex was a bit insecure because they knew me for a while and knew they weren’t the type of person I usually go for but I did genuinely love them.

broken heart hope you feel better! I am in the same boat but I though about it and while I was sad and couldn’t eat she was out partying so fuck her “don’t waste your time on someone who only wants you around when it fits them” It’s not healthy for you trust me because you want to be the best person you can and who knows you may find the right person along your journey. It’s not easy because I was in love with her and we was together for 5 years. Feels like I wasted my time as she didn’t feel the same. She only calls me when she needs something and the other days she is free she don’t even text me, it’s all starting to make sense to me that she is most likely just using me. See if I was in her spot and I don’t don’t wanna be with her I wouldn’t use her because I still would have love and respect for her and wouldn’t want to hurt her feelings. Just shows we are made from different cloths.

No, not yet. He started a new facebook profile, and even though I'm not on social media, he knows my roommate will see his updates. I may be looking into things, but he has breadcrumbed before, and his new photos only make sense to me. That is what my gut is saying, so I'm going with it. He is being very stubborn, but I think he may be starting to crack. I've been in radio silence for 2 months (we broke up 3 months ago,) and it's even harder doing it again. If he comes back he will have a lot of proving himself to me, I don't want a third breakup. I love him and miss him, I do believe he'll be back, I just have to be patient and stay in no contact!

I think he knows I've changed. I am no longer his muse. Just let them sit on that. Stay NC. It may take awhile. I will not interrupt his new relationship. If that makes him happy...I want him to be...Loving someone means exactly that. If they are happy, it's what I want, with or without me. I have learned to practice empathy. Cynthia, you're right. Loving someone means you have to make them feel free to go to anywhere they want to be. That is really hardest part in a breakup. All we can do is to better ourselves, and do NC to heal ourselves from this pain. I don't care who she's with as long as she's happy, and i'll do my part to better my chances.

We’ve been together for 2,5 years. i’ve been in NC. for 2 weeks i guess and i know we both need at least 2-3 months or maybe more to heal and feel better. But the problem is he told me that even if i change he doesnt want a relationship in his life and he said please dont have hope for us bc we won’t be together again. And in the last phone call we did( the day he broke up w me) he was cold and talked to me like a stranger and told me to move on. when we were talking about break up he told me he no longer loves me but after that i asked him to be honest and he said i love u but i cant be with you i dont want to be with u anymore i said i dont feel anything to you bc i didnt want to give you false hope. and after that we made a phone call and he was cold as a stranger. Your best option would be to listen for once what your ex told you and just move on. Whether you believe it or not. That is the option with the highest chance that you get you get back together with your ex at some point in your life.

Work on your self esteem. Buy new cloths, workout a little, do some changes on your looks (that makes you feel good). If you improve your self esteem, you will improve your confidence and your self value. Confidence, self esteem and self value are the keys to change the anxious behavior. P.S. anxious behavior activate your emotions. So you need to work on your emotional control. (Maybe some relaxing exercises do the job).

@@Zukich I ended up blocking her for my own sanity and it just ended up becoming a contentious situation as we still had ties so at one point I just decided to “put my sword down” and accept what was so that her and I could work thru the remaining issues and move on with our lives. We don’t really communicate that much at all. We shared a house with mortgage and dogs so we sometimes send pics of the dogs but that’s really it.
