9 months late but if you leave it off without adding new pipe, the exhaust will cut off underneath the car causing more interior noise. Another thing, while unlikely, could burn any nearby heat sensitive objects

@firehalwkchipdip have had it cut off since the comment was made have had 0 issues with it no burnt wire just alot of interior drone and a louder car 🙏

I don’t know much about cherry bomb mufflers but I have heard they are EXTREMELY loud. I knew one guy that had one and he said it was crazy. I don’t understand why necessarily because usually those products have a muffler on them so im assuming a straight pipe or cutting mufflers off would be louder but I could be wrong. I would only buy it if you want something very very loud. Thanks for the comment boss!

not bad. I remember on this mustang for removal of the stock muffler, and adding a pipe and tip, everything was around $100. so that seems reasonable

Gas mileage on average is similar to what is stated online for this car (V6, 2007). Muffler delete didn’t change much, if any at all. Don’t have exact numbers for you, but from what I remember (my brother drives this now), gas mileage was what about 22-24 (combined)

Not necessarily fast or slow, somewhere in the middle, I found myself filling up once a week, but everyone is different.

Old cars get shitty gas mileage. SN95 and S197 wouldn't be much worse than any car around the same era. If you want good gas mileage, should look into more modern cars.
